I bought this to mount my arlo solar panel. It is well made and sturdy. You just back out the thumb screws so it slides over the edge of the gutter and then tighten them. The solar panel screws right to the mount. Very easy and it works perfectly.

Should have bought sooner but just wasn’t sure. I gave it a try and seems to work very well. Let’s see how it does after a Wisconsin winter! More to come!

I bought this to mount the solar panel. Considering I was two stories up on an extension ladder, this item could be a little easier to install. The mount, by itself, is very simple to install on the gutter as it only requires placing the mount over the lip of the gutter and tightening down the two screws. The problem lies in the adjustable swivel that the solar panel screws into. The adjustable swivel consists of five pieces (nut, bolt/screw, two halves, and swivel mount). The bolt/screw is not long enough to allow you to remove the swivel mount (to attach it to the base of the solar panel) without the rest of the adjustable swivel completely falling apart. If the bolt/screw was just a few threads longer, I would have been able to remove the swivel mount from in between the two halves, screw it into the base of the solar panel, and then reinsert the swivel mount between the two halves before tightening the bolt/screw to secure the swivel mount between the two halves. If I was just mounting a small camera (that I can easily hold in one hand) instead of a larger solar panel, I would have just screwed the camera onto the swivel mount without disassembling it.In regards to the "rated features", I can't comment on how weatherproof this item is yet since I've only had it for about a week. I'm just hoping that it doesn't rust. For motion detection, this just doesn't. It's a mount, not a camera. Finally, I didn't use tech support, unless you count looking at the post-it sized installation instructions, which consists of four images and little-to-no words.

This was a great solution for attaching a solar panel to our arlo system on a very high portion of our home. That way, we have been able to stop getting up on a very high ladder to replace the arlo batteries.

Works awesome keeps camera charged all the time

Made the installation of the solar panels very easy. Allowed me to rotate and angle the panel to capture the sun all day. Highly recommend.
