Origin Effects RevivalDRIVE CUSTOM Ghosting Overdrive The RevivalDRIVE is the first overdrive pedal from Origin Effects, the creators of the game-changing Cali76 and SlideRIG compressors. For these pedals, Origin took the legendary Urei 1176 as their inspiration. By following the same analogue circuit topology but adapting the design and components to work in a pedal format, they managed to deliver the sound and response of this classic studio compressor in a stompbox. For the RevivalDRIVE, they’ve applied the same approach to overdrive. But rather than look at other effects, they’ve gone straight to the source of great overdriven tone – the vintage non-master-volume valve amps of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. Awesome authentic tones for silent recording!
My quest for the "Holy Grail" of silent guitar recording rigs is now officially over! The Origin Effects Revival Drive Custom is absolutely EVERYTHING I had been looking for. Right out of the box, just following the setup examples in the manual, I was able to get some amazing tones just running it straight into my GFI Systems CabZeus then into my Steinberg UR824 interface! Unlike the DSM & Humboldt Simplifier, it takes all my pedals very well without any strange clipping, even when stacking overdrives (Exotic EP Boost+Tube Screamer+Wampler Tumnus Deluxe). I've only had it a few hours and I'm amazed. I can't wait until I've had time to learn all the controls and really tweak it! I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for an "amp in a box". It will not disappoint.

NAILS vintage cranked tube amp sounds, amazing!
Incredible pedal. It really emulates the sounds of vintage, cranked up Marshall/Fender/Vox amps. Very dynamic response as well. Built like a tank. Recommend the Custom model for extra tone tweaks, also recommend watching online videos (Origin has several posted on YouTube and has suggested settings in the manual and on their site for certain sounds) and be prepared to spend some time studying the owner’s manual as this ain’t no Tube Screamer, it is more complicated to operate and does need to be played with a bit to match input side amp its being used with, but reward is T-O-N-E.Having said all that, make sure you watch the vids first to make sure this is what you’re after. It is great (phenomenal, really) at what it does, but it’s probably not the best choice for Death Metal etc, though they did just release a higher-gain version if that’s what you’re after.

Politique SAV deplorable
Le footswitch gauche de cette pedale a commence a mal fonctionner au bout de 2 mois... j’ai contacte le vendeur sur la market place. Malgré la garantie 2 ans faudrait que je paie les frais de retour en atelier puis de renvoi chez moi pour la faire reparer. C’est une honte pour une pedale de ce prix.Je vais certainement la faire reparer a mes frais pres de chez moi.A fuir car en cas de pb, il n’y a pas de support.
