These wall protectors are just perfect for use with a door/stair gate or with anything else that has a pressure point against a wall.We are using them with a baby gate and they keep it firmly in place with no slipping at all.There is no marking what-so-ever to our wall paper or to our gloss painted skirting. Very clever item

They seem to be holding the gate very well and do not appear to be having an impact on the wood or its paint. They do say that cannot be used on a gate at the top of the stairs, so do please bear that in mind before purchasing.

Excellent product. We’ve used to re enforce a gate for our dog who kept ripping one down with normal fittings. This product has stopped that so we highly recommend to pet owners.
