Worth it! Other places that sells these dresses are over priced in my opinion. My purpose for this dress is for my maternity photoshoot, I couldn't imagine myself wearing it anywhere else (big split in the middle and it drags on the floor). The material is a Jersey knit and it is stretchy. I ordered mine in white, and with white there is some sheerness, but not in an inappropriate way. Other reviewers comment about how tight the top piece is, this is very true! I ordered an XL based on the other reviews and it worked out fine, I am a 38 C (pregnancy size) and I also have big/muscular arms and broad shoulders, so I always size up for things like this because of that. I am also 5"8 and the dress drags on the floor, which is great for the photoshoot. There is elastic in the shoulder area so, even though when you take it out the package it looks like a kids dress, but it does stretch. I purchased a white bandeau bra and boyshorts underwear to wear under (not shown in picture) just to feel more covered and comfortable if I do decide to open the front during the photoshoot. Love the price! Awesome purchase! Plus..... this is amazon, you can always return if it doesn't work out the way you want... unlike those other places!

I'm usually a medium and ordered an XL. It fit well and was very long. But the jersey fabric wasn't great for the kind of photos I was wanting. It just didn't flow nicely. I wanted shots where the gown is flowing in the wind behind me and it just didn't really cooperate well. It kind of billowed and just wasn't great. I had another backup skirt that was more of a chiffon material and that worked much better. Also if you don't want to be bare underneath make sure you get another skirt to wear. The pictures I had seen showed like a train or a sash flowing behind the model, but she was still covered underneath. I didn't think about the fact that if you throw up the bottom of this dress you're left pretty naked underneath. So just something to think about. It looked fine in photos where I was just standing still but it was really the action shots that I wanted. Glad I had a backup!

I bought this dress for an upcoming maternity shoot. I haven't done the shoot yet, but I wanted to leave a review on how it fit. I am so happy I went with a size bigger than I normally wear. Obviously the bottom of the dress isn't fitted, so the size doesn't matter, but the top was very tight. I am still happy with the dress because this will allow the shoulders to stay where I wanted, but it does pull tight across the front (I am a 36 C/D). I am 5'9" and weigh 170 lbs, 34 weeks pregnant and bought a large. Another thing I loved about this dress was the length. I wanted a dramatic look for my pictures and the dress trailed behind me, even being really tall. Really excited to wear it to the photo shoot.

Glad I listened to the other reviews! I'm a smaller girl, 32A pre pregnancy, normally wear a small size. Now at 6 months I'm 34B and I ordered this in a size Large and it fits perfectly. The material is not sheer at all. I do find the sweetheart neckline bunches at times and I have to readjust to make sure it'll look good in the picture but overall good value for price.

Bought this dress for my maternity photos. I didn't want to wear the front of the dress with the open front so I used fabric tape to close the front split....worked perfectly! I received so many compliments and everyone was shocked when I told them it was from Amazon! Great purchase. I purchased a medium --I'm 5'5, 185 lbs at 9 months of pregnancy.

Very cute, I love the style and material. It feels like good quality. I returned because it was too big, but I'm considering ordering again in a smaller size.
