No drop outs or pops.
This connection got me out of a pinch. Shot on Day one on a movie with Deity micro lavs. The microdot provided by deity worked for about two takes then takes a dump. All three deities did the same. Ordered this adapter to test on one and there was zero problems, saved me from going to basic lav mic’s. I have Sanken cos 11’s as well and this is holding up to the DPA adapters as well. Buying two more for the remaining deity lavs.

Works great & cheaper than alternatives
I needed this to adapt a DPA 4099 mic for a wireless setup on my sax... DPA charges $99 for the same adapter - although theirs is gold plated. The HIXMAN works fine and no downsides I've been able to detect as of yet.

Does the job and is 1/3 the price of a DPA adapter
No need to spend over $100 for the original DPA version. This Mircodot to TRS 1/8" is well-built and passes power to the mics that need it. Works perfectly with my Deity W.Lav Pro. I have not noticed any play in the construction or any hum. The locking ring is sturdy.Recommended
