I have a 2016 limited with JBL. I have had a lot of issues with the OEM Radio, mostly around Bluetooth connection and call quality. I finally had enough. In addition I had a rental car recently that had CarPlay and I loved it!The Sygav Android 11 is a fantastic radio. It was easy to install and works perfectly. Sound quality is very good. Connection to our phones was easy. Before making my purchase I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research. Based on some of the negative reviews, Sygav must be continuing to learn and upgrade these units based on feedback which is a good thing.- product was well packaged when it arrived- there was a quality check label included in the box- there is an owners manual in the box. English translation is poor though, but easy enough to figure out.- the JBL system only supplemental harness was in its own bag and clearly labeled- no detailed installation instructions but follow the video on the Amazon item page and it’s easy. Only issue I had was getting a piece of the cars trim back in properly but not really radio related- all buttons on the steering wheel worked perfectly including the phone call buttons. I didn’t have to program them- Factory USB and Aux both work perfectly. They also provide a cable that adds 2 more USB Ports but decided not to use them since my wife would hate exposed wires.- I placed the external mic hidden behind the HVAC panel and sound quality for calls is great. Also sending messages in CarPlay with Siri is well understood so the mic on the front of the unit must work well- unit boots up quickly. Reverse camera comes on even if it is in boot up or when the unit is turned off, which is great!- all car config functions are still available. Even unique ones like power tailgate opening height were all retained- tire pressures are now accessible to me, although in KPa not PSI. No biggie to me still an improvement over nothing that Toyota gives us access to.- you will lose the compass on the instrument panel with this unit. Also you will lose the audio display screen on the dash. Also if your car has Easy Speak, you will lose that function. None of these matter to me though.- the apps on the system could be configured a little better. The Zlink app that you use for CarPlay is several pages back but should be up front. I know these are configurable but I have to figure out how to do that.Overall extremely pleased with the Sygav unit. I’m looking forward to learning more about all the other functions to unlock the full potential. I also hope the unit proves reliable.

Pros: Huge screen, fit's perfect in a 2015 Toyota Highlander, easy install with included wiring harness, audio sounds great. Cons: Takes forever to boot-up, >1 min every-single-time, Bluetooth is inconsistent sometimes it connects -sometimes not, Android software crashes fairly frequently, glitchy as heck, doesn't connect to Apple CarPlay reliably. Comes preinstalled with YouTube, which should be illegal since I don't think you should be able to watch videos while driving, there are enough distracted drivers out there.In short, save yourself the headache and order a more expensive brand name system. Replaced this with a Sony system, boots up in 5 sec, doesn't crash, connects every time wired or wirelessly with Apple Carplay.

Easy-to-install great features

Installation of the head unit wasnt too difficult, definitely watch the video provided in this listing. My unit's backside wasn't exactly like the unit shown in the instructional video, but I was able to figure out where to plug in what.Once I got the unit to turn on, i did have trouble connecting android auto from my phone at first, but that was most likely because I didn't read the instruction manual. The connection works great now, my phone automatically pairs with the unit when I turn the car on. It does take a min or two to fully sync up, but its been overall reliable (not perfect though). It has a lot of cool features, including watching youtube streaming from your mobile hotspot, and picture quality is actually pretty great. Sound quality is decent.I also want to give a shout out to Sygav for replacing my head unit when the screen stopped working a few months in. I had to try fixing the problem myself with guidance from their customer support, but they do honor their warranty when I wasnt able to resolve the issue, plus they were very helpful.The replacement unit is working perfectly, connection is faster, and so is going from app to app. I'll update this review if the replacement unit also has issues within the next few months, but so far, really enjoying it. Maybe I got a faulty product the first time?

Muy buen equipo, tiene un sonido muy bueno, el único detalle es que es audio del teléfono con CarPlay, no me escuchan bien a veces, y el nivel de volumen es bajo comparando con el nivel del radio o Spotify, o sea, tomo una llamada, le tengo que subir el volumen, y terminando la llamada, el radio suena con mayor volumen, eso es incomodo.El logo de TOYOTA no lo tiene cuando enciende la pantalla, aparece el de Android.En general, si la recomiendo.Si el fabricante me ayuda con el código para entrar el menú de factory settings se lo voy a agradecer

Worked fine for about 6 months with a couple of minor glitches. Now it won’t recognize or pair to iPhone that has been paired to it all along. Tried to contact company to no avail. Beautiful unit that was easy to install and looks great but would not buy again, especially with no support from the company
