Good laces
Definitely fit what I was expecting. Go great with my dressier boots. I do have speed laces for the eyelets so I have to be a bit careful when lacing them up as these laces arent built for that kind of wear and tear, but that is entirely par for the course for these types of laces. If you want something more stout then you have tone down the classiness to a different brand, but screw that. My boots look dope so I'll just be gentle with my laces..

Gold tips fell off the laces. Crimp the tips with pliers before wearing
Bought these as replacement for some chukka boots I have. I measured the old laces so I knew exactly what length to order and these arrived perfectly. They are thick, waxed, and almost a perfect replacement for my old laces which also had gold tips. Even the color was a perfect match. I also love that I have two pair, one with silver tips and one with gold tips.So why just 3 stars? Well after probably wearing these boots 5 or 6 times since I bought them and swapped laces I've lost two of the gold tips on my laces. They just fell off sometime during the day. I didn't even notice until I took my boots off after work. Now I have laces with one gold tip on each shoe. Mind you I work in an office so I was not doing anything physical. This is disappointing.If anyone buys these I would suggest crimping the end of the tip with needle nose pliers or something so that they don't fall off while walking.

Not sure if I was supposed to rub wax on these before use, but I figured they would come ready to go. I used them in my Red Wing Chukkas and they only lasted a couple on months with normal use, meaning four times a week wear.Update:I put the second pair of laces into my boots and the metal tip came off after four outings.Don’t waste your money.

Good value, only minor issues
These are very cool looking laces and made of tough material. Good value considering they come with two pairs. The metal aglets seem strong enough and attached securely to the laces. One problem I have is that one lace showed a couple of spots where it looked like the stuffing was bursting out, though it hasn't been a problem after a couple of weeks of regular use. Another issue is that the laces don't squeeze very well, so when they're tied, the knot isn't the most secure. The laces haven't come untied for me when using a double knot in the past couple weeks of use, but the knot is visibly less tight than it would be for most shoelaces.

Perfect Length!
Long enough for my six pair round eyelet + two pair hook eyelet boots! They’re a great way to add a pop of color to black boots and the red are a perfect addition for any other goths out there, haha
