It works, looks and acts just like my expensive Apple charger, but at a fraction of the cost. THANK YOU!! I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that got the charger that allowed my original MacBookPro extension cord to fit. Yippee! This charger worked the minute I plugged it in the wall and the STRONG magnet grabbed L charger port. Again, Thank You! I've tried other style chargers and their magnets won't stay in, even just sitting on the counter. What? This is THE CHARGER if you need a replacement. I've waisted my $$ on others and finally I found the charger that WORKS!!! Do yourself a big favor and buy this charger and forget all the others. Save your time and $$, you can thank me later.

Works out of the box just as well as my last replacement charger. My factory charger and first replacement both ended up frayed towards the L-tip, so hopefully third times the charm. Works perfectly now, and will update if anything changes.

My original MacBook Pro power cord died unexpectedly last Thursday which left me unable to power it on. I decided to check Amazon to see how quickly I could get a replacement at a good price. Lo and behold, I found this one with Free one-day delivery at a great price. It was delivered on time the next day - Friday, and I was back in business in an hour or two.The unit is working well without getting hot and is charging the laptop to full capacity very quickly much better than the original power cord. I would definitely highly recommend this product as well as it's seller on Amazon.

I have a Macbook Pro that was purchased in early 2012. I was in need of another power cord and gave out I decide to give this cheap alternative a shot. So far so good. One that that greatly surprised me about this charger opposed to other aftermarket power cords is this one is compatible with the OEM powercord extension, which was a huge perk for me since I use this one to charge my computer from my couch, and needed an extra long cord. The only reason it was given 4 instead of 5 stars is there is a noticeable difference in the strength of the magnet that holds the charger into the charing port. I would recommend this power cord.

In some ways this charger is actually better than the original. My refurbished 2011 MacBook Pro came with a charger designed to fit a three-prong outlet. It was annoying because I used to live in an older house that only had a couple of three-prong outlets in inconvenient places, the rest were two-prong that I couldn’t plug the old charger into. This new one will fit ANY outlet. I think this also might have something to do with the charger not getting too hot, as I’ve seen a few others mention. Additionally, this could actually prolong your laptop’s battery life, since it is won’t burn it out as fast. So in the long run this charger is a great investment because it’s probably going to save you from having to replace the battery as often, as I had to recently. Awesome deal!

I needed a replacement charger for my apple laptop and I didn't want to pay mega bucks for it since what I have is 11 years old. The info given for this charger, listed my computer model number as being compatable. This charger seems to do the trick. It's not heavy like my other one, which I like! The cord seems long enough. The charger base has little ends that pop out so you can wrap the cord if you needed to and it even came with a velcro strap attached to the wire. The prongs that plug into the outlet also fold down, which makes for easy travel, nothing poking out. When charging there is a light that is red and green when it's fully charged. I think the price is good. At this point, I would recommend buying it if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

I bought this for 18 bucks as a replacement for the official apple charger which costs 3 to 4 times more. It shipped fast, and came in decent packaging. The build quality is good and it fits my MacBook very well. So far I have no complaints. Some of these cheaper chargers die very quickly but this one has been going fine for about a week.

Works perfectly with my MacBook Pro, keeps the charge and no other issues with charging. Great alternative to the original charger.
