Started taking this product after another hair/nail supplement made me sick to my stomach. No such problems with this product! I have been taking it for 3 weeks now, and definitely notice my hair growing more quickly. I am a Certified Personal Trainer for 20 years and one of many certifications are in supplementation. With that said, if you did not know, Biotin is a B-complex vitamin & is a very important nutrient. It has many roles & plays key roles in fat and sugar metabolism. Biotin is necessary to build healthy fats in the skin. These fats keep the skin supple and moist, and when they are gone, the skin becomes flaky and irritated. That is why this is suggested for hair & nails. This is a great product to use, especially if your diet is not great. Add this to your daily vitamin regimen. The dosage they have is a perfect amount because the suggested amount is 5000mcg-10,000 mcg (5mg-10mg) per day. This product "Hair Maxis"also has many other nutrients such as Vitamin A, C, E, B2, B6 etc, but do not get all excited about that because they are at a low dose that it will not take the place of your daily multivitamin. This is a good buy & IMO, this is the best way to get your hair healthy & if you're NOT LOSING HAIR due to genetic hair loss, this just may help you. My whole life I have always had long, healthy hair...up until recently. I'm not completely sure what happened to my locks, it was probably a combination of back to back pregnancy and also that my hair is constantly pulled up with a hair tie. I wouldn't say my hair is longer, but I have noticed my hair isn't falling out as much as it did. I also noticed my nails are not as brittle. The pill is a kind of big, but I guess it's average size for all vitamin and supplements. Pills are easy to swallow and they didn't upset my stomach at all.
