This company is a thief of time and money
This item and company are both a terrible thing to be involved with. The remote turns out to be an accessory,so when it fails after one use you have to buy another one if it’s over thirty days old. Took me that long to get on the water. They are not helpful nor do they answer the phone. Do not purchase this unless you like wasting time and money and like drilling holes in your boat. I really wish I could speak to someone at Amazon because this is nothing short of a ripoff.

That this complaint needs to be dealt with promptly
Finally got out fishing after covid19, and my brand new trolling motor ran for a total of 3 hours, and quit. Batteries are still showing 75% charge but the motor will not come on, very disappointing. Would like rep to contact me about getting either an exchange or my money back.

remote is totally unreliable
trolling motor mounted front of a 12' grumman alu boat.Motor is strong enough, that part is fine. But the remote fails at random intervals, MUCH worse, when it does it leaves the motor running with the steering in whatever position it was set.Happened to me and we ran full-tilt into the bank before I could reach the cutoff switch. So I threw most of it away, kept the motor itself, which is good, bought a separate speed controller and made myself a tiller. That part seems quite reliable.Lousy electronics, worse software.
