The Lonesome Puppy

The sweetest story - I give a copy of this book to all my new parent friends.

I'm a design junky with toddlers. I bought this solely for myself because I love Nara's art. I used the excuse of it being a "children's book" to secure funds from my husband. Little did I know that it would be well written, have a wonderful theme, and that the illustrations would appeal to two year olds as much as to their 37 year old mother. My twin boys repeatedly ask us to read this. They have it memorized. It is a wonderful book about hope, tolerance, imagination and disability as a vehicle for growth and not hinderance. my whole family LOVES IT!!!!

If you're a fan of Nara, you won't be disappointed. I read this book to my daughter and she loves it....but the story is very simple and the book goes by a little toooooo fast. I usually end up discussing the photos with her instead of actually reading the story line.

This is a really adorable book for fans of Nara and other people as well. It also makes an excellent gift for a friend because it is a touching story of friendship (: I am very satisfied with this book!

yoshimoto nara is a fun artist so when I heard he had a kids book, I had to have it. I like that it has a good message about friendship and overcoming disability.

The story is simple but cute and has a nice message. It's a small book, buy every page is beautiful and totally Yoshitomo Nara's cute and weird style.
