This is a high quality product, unlike many other mounts out there. I'm so glad it came up as a recommendation. I have another mount made of plastic, but this one is machined from a single piece of aluminum. It's fairly heavy, so it brings the center of gravity downward, making it less prone to tip over. I use it with a tiny metal tripod.The design is very simple and efficient. A clever design makes it a pleasure to use, and the great quality makes me wonder how they can make it so cheap. It does not cover up the microphone hole on the bottom, and there's room to plug in a USB cable. Since I don't use the wireless adapter, this is perfect for my needs.I highly recommend this if you are not using the wifi adapter, and want to keep things as small as possible. The adapter comes with a small pouch that can easily fit in your pocket

It's a great mount design wise. The materials used is top notch and holds the Osmo Pocket (OP) firmly. I have no fears the OP will fall off once it's screwed on properly. My issue with this is the overall finish. The edges and corners are sharp and makes the overall assembly uncomfortable to hold in long periods. The rails for the cold shoe are the biggest offender. I had to buy a cold shoe cover to mitigate this. You can also attach a small tripod so you can hold that instead, but I like to keep the OP compact and small when shooting. Especially during vacations. Overall it's not a bad product per se, but it could have been executed and finished better. Still usable and the price can't be beat.
