Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Metric sockets are necessary for working on Japanese cars and other random projects around the house.The extra depth is highly desirable and they are impact rated so it is possible to use them with my impact driver and avoid manual work. I also find the extensions extremely useful working in tight spaces.The "ball-spring" mechanism on the 3/8 adapter is more stiff than the rest I'm not sure it's by design or a different in the manufacturing process. It is tight but works!It is also worth mentioning that the carrying case is well-designed and both latches don't require too much power to close and open like other products I own.

I have a Standard SAE set, but they lack extensions, ½" to 3/8" adapter, as well as a case. Though this set was slightly more than what I paid for the SAE set, I think the 3 extensions, adapter, and case make it worth the little extra money.The sockets and extensions appear well made with thick walled 6-point sockets that are clearly marked with their size and the length on the extensions. The sizes are also stamped into each socket.I was a little disappointed at first that a 8 mm socket was not included in this set as that is a fairly common size. But after thinking about it I realized that removing a 8 mm fastener with a ½" impact or socket wrench is probably not a good idea.The plastic storage case is pretty decent as well with easy open latches, real lid hinges, and the socket sizes molded into the case. The sockets and extensions fit into their rightful places but don't snap into place like some of the other cases I have used. This is a bonus to me as it makes retrieving a socket or extension with oily/greasy hands a little less tricky. And when case lid is closed the sockets are held in place by the foam insert and case lid.I have only used this set a few times to date, but so far they look like they are going to do a good job and should hold up well. If I experience any issues I will update this review.

This deep socket set was purchased to withstand the high torque of both my air impact wrench and my new ryobi 1/2 socket wrench! The sockets are required for working on unique vehicle product group wheelchair truck. After destroying and splitting my 13mm and 19mm during my last rotor replacement it was time to get something that could withstand the high wrenching needed for this type of work. The deep depth is desirable and the impact rating makes them possible for use with my impact drivers. I appreciate the extensions that are extremely useful working in tight spaces near the struts or in the engine area. The 3/8 adapter is rigid and allows use of the smaller sizes. This is not the cheap or low quality case that usually comes with socket sets purchased on amazon. This carrying case has latches that open and close which don't require too much force. The sockets stay in their designated holder and withstand the bouncing from truck to ground during my mechanic work. I am so pleased with this set that next month I will purchase the secondary SAE complete my tool box for the garage and truck work and Heavy duty project tasks.

March 2021: Used this Meterk deep impact socket set on a few tough jobs already & can say it's a very good quality! Includes a nice case as well. Very pleased with the product! I say buy it!5.22.21 Update: 21mm socket broke removing a stubborn lug nut! Read a couple other reviews that had the same 21mm socket split like mine did- so not sure if the issue is specific to the 21mm only- but now I do not trust the durability of these sockets. NO WARRANTY EITHER!! Review went from 5 stars to 1!Now looking closely at these sockets compared to other quality sets they are thin walled so buyer beware- I say do not buy them- buy a better set!

Needed a new set for work.. my last set disappeared . This was the best value I could find.. and very happy with itThey are a fantastic set of long sockets that come in handy while attaching nuts onto long bolts and removing deeper set lug nuts. I do alot of my own automotive worked well & the sockets are tough enough to withstand alot of torque. Whether I am using a breaker bar or impact wrench, the sockets grip well & firmly.. There are several different lengths and an adapter for a screw gun if you have the correct connection.The vast amount of sizes along with the solid plastic case makes this a great addition to my tools. These are very helpful when I need to do automotive work on my older vehicles.I always struggle when working deep inside the engine with short sockets that can't turn bolts without slipping or mushing the heads.Great value!!

This set was pretty nice at first. I liked how it had every socket you would need and more. However, in only a month, I’ve already had 2 sockets break. The first one was a little bit my own fault, I’ll admit, but when I contacted support they only had $5 to offer when all I wanted was a replacement. A week later another socket broke from regular use. The durability is not what I expected and the support was no help for the second socket. They sent me a link to a socket that was not theirs and told me to buy it and they’ll refund it. When I did as instructed, they gave me a partial refund due to the fact that they had previously refunded me $5.

This is a really nice full impact set that is great for both the garage and your truck box. These are a nice quality steel construction with black finish. The numbers are printed nice and big and are really easy to read which is really nice. This is pretty much a complete kit for 99% of what you will encounter in the garage. It comes in a really nice case and you even get a few extras like extension bars and even a reducer so you can use the sockets on a 3/8ths setup. It's a great price for a complete impact socket setup and the case makes it great for the truck box or job site.
