Tent pegs will never be the same after these... WOW!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So I haven't purchased these tent pegs to go camping, I have purchased them to hold my waterproof cover steady on top of my barbecue and a few "summer bits" (without blowing to the neighbours/street and all over the place).I knew they had to be good quality due to the price, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I have seen them in person. These are not any tent pegs... These are... Something else!Something better for sure!!!PROSPack of 4BIG 12"Super strongFantastic material qualityEasy to useIt anchors almost everything to wherever you want it! And it stays put!CONS/What would I improve?OMG nothing! These are perfect!Much better than I was expecting when I purchased them!!!Would I buy again?I AM GOING TO Next summer for campingWould I recommend?Yes!

Perfect!
These did just the job I needed them for. They anchored my Gazebo (3m x 3m) against 35+ mph winds in the middle of a field for a weekend. They are a great design, went in to the ground with so much ease I was worried they wouldn't be overly secure but they didn't budge an inch and were ratched strapped very tightly to the gazebo. Came out really easily too at the end of the weekend and the plastic tube cover/handle is a brilliant touch.

Great for soft ground
Tried these for the first time today. As they are quite large (see the specs) then they have great holding power. Used them on a beach and the shelter didn't move an inch. Thinking of taking these in Winter for use in the snow and their light weight makes this a more attractive proposition than huge heavier metal snow stakes.

Giant ground anchors that should prevent nearly anything blowing away or escaping!
Although this ground anchor kit by JIODUX is described as tent pegs it can have many other uses as well – securing inflatables, tarpaulins even dogs. I thought it would be suitable to secure my garden gazebo and these screws seem perfectly suited to the task. The kit comprises four very large screw-in anchors with drive bars that form a “T” to make twisting easier. The screw-in anchors are very much more secure than the more common hammer-in types and are perfect for damp ground and many surfaces where others may just pull straight out again! They can be a bit more difficult on very dry ground and may need the soil to be watered a bit before inserting in some cases – but the drive bars do offer a lot of torque. These anchors are very sturdy and larger than I imagined – check the dimensions - and if you have garden equipment or go camping then you will find all sorts of applications for them. All in all a useful product for anyone needing to securely anchor things outdoors – currently around thirty pounds for a pack of four these anchors are not cheap but better value in this larger size four-pack. Even at this price these ground anchors get five stars for build quality and design.

Bought my second Coleman event shelter and needed to batten it down a little extra before I lost it to the neighbours. Found these n thought I'd give them a go.Ordered 2- got sent 4 on accidental duplicate order, but one pack had clearly already been used. Contacted Amazon who refunded the 2nd accidental duplicate and said to keep them since they were broken anyway. I felt that was a good resolution especially since when I came to use them, the points snap off at the slightest provocation. Saying that tho- they drive into the ground beautifully and so easily and hold my shelter fine so far. The points could do with some reinforcement and I don't know how they will work on a second use but if they last the summer in my garden I'll have had my money's worth considering the price of the shelter.I would add they'd be no good on soft ground (they'd just pull out) nor very hard stony ground (they would break) so maybe I was just lucky my crappy lawn was the baby bear porridge of ground for these.I'm impressed by the technique for getting them into the ground; I'm weak and feeble and had no problems whatsoever. Put the tube through the hole in the screw (down boy) and turn- it was dead easy! They are light and bright and close to the ground so less trip hazard. Cant comment on efficacy as a dog parker cos I aint got one only a shelter. Still.

Good stake
Good robust ground stake. Pricey but good. Like all ground stakes, it is only as good as the ground it goes in

Problem solver
Bought these hoping they'd be strong enough to secure two corners of a tarp which protects an opened hay bale. Put chunky plastic ended bungee (not metal hooks) on tarp. to make it easy to remove and put back quickly, and ... so far so good. The right ground condition is obviously very important - first one wound in easily and firmly, second one - had to have quite a few attempts before we found the ideal spot, but having done that they don't seem to have budged at all over the last month and remain secure. I'm not confident yet how, being plastic, they might fare if left in place over the winter but given the price (they do seem expensive, but they are BIG and not nearly as costly as other very similar ones available) they have so far solved a long-standing problem for me, tent pegs and home-made solutions haven't worked or lasted long before. The colour makes them easy to see too. I can think of a multitude of uses for these - so will probably get more just to keep handy!

Goes into the ground really easy
This is my second set. We use them to anchor down the motorhome awning. They screw in method is easy and the integral peg handle is a clever idea.I only have one reason for not giving 5 stars. They do bend slightly under strain. For all I know this is meant to happen, but I just wish they were more rigid. If these screw pegs were made of steel, I would buy four, because the design is so clever.
