After shopping around, I felt this Presentation Remote had all the right features and price point. In addition, I'm a professional speaker so I need a reliable one. So glad I choose this one! This one was replacing a somewhat similar one in that the previous had a laser pointer and timer. This one has those features, plus the back light led display, vibration at the two minute warning and end of time too. The laser pointer is spot on. In addition, no need to make sure the batteries are with you since it charges using your computer or USB port!Plus it keep the time and is ergonomically spot on! I used it for three presentations in one day and no problems what-so-ever. Simple plug and play up in no time. Excellent item. Charge the item fully like it recommends for the first use and one a month try it out.I had to purchase a separate case, which I did here on Amazon. (The Presentation Pointer doesn't come with one). Prior one came with a soft case. I would highly recommend you purchase a hard travel case, versus a soft one. With the buttons and sensitive area on the top, a soft case if mishandled or heavier item place on top can cause damage to the unit. Invest in a hard shell case. ( I know from experience). Get this Presentation Pointer and knock your presentation out of ball park!

-Ease of use: It's plug-and-play right out of the box. The controls are well-placed and easy to find without even looking.-Built quality: The product is solidly built. The ergonomics are great. The buttons are solid and intuitive. That the USB plug fits into the pointer is a great plus, even though mine never leaves the computer. I expect it to last for a long time.-Features: The feature set is simpler than some other models, but the features on this model are enough for most users.Plug in the receiver to a USB pot on computer and it works. I love that the receiver stores directly and firmly in the pointer so it doesn't get lost.

It’s exactly what I wanted. Needed the backlit timer to keep me on track without have to use on stage prompters for presentation flow and range for those larger rooms at industry shows and such.I even use a remote slide clicker for small engagements of 20+ to have the more interactive feel at certain levels.Pros: Small, feels good in hand, range and timer.Negs: Don’t normally use a laser pointer but it IS powerful for various lighting and size scenarios, but would actually use the feature if it had circle or rectangular options to better call attention to things. But this isn’t specific to the product here. The ergonomics are like a lot of them but in my hand I have to crane my wrist back from the comfortable and hidden position or hold lower. Buttons at the corners above the display would solve this. Again, minor suggestion. There were no printed instructions for the timer and although very solid construction, there is a noticeable piece of plastic bouncing around inside that is noticeable.Overall, great deal on a nice upgrade to your base/standard model. Have tested in decent size room but not at the stated 300 foot range. I’ll update on how it fairs after a few months of heavy use.For now...BUY IT. Recommended.

Pretty good deal! Finally a laser pointer with a rechargeable battery that has all the standard features as well as a timer at a great price. The device is palm-sized (for a woman) and light. Charging cable included. Device can be charged using laptop usb port. Only suggestions for improvement are consider inclusion of a carry bag and consider developing a usb-c connector as many laptops now only have usb type c connectors.

Very simple to connect to the PC via its USB pen is recharged by connecting it to a normal charger for smartphones or a power bank or same to the PC.Really very convenient for presentation and classroom lessons.- has the laser pointer- the keys to scroll the slides- the possibility of using it as a mouseVery satisfied with my purchase. I bought this to use with the ProPresenter application. The listing and manual report that the buttons are mapped to the Page Up and Page Down keys when, in fact, the buttons are mapped to the Up and Down arrow keys. This works fine to advance slides for many programs, like PowerPoint, but sadly does not work for ProPresenter. ProPresenter needs to use either the left/right arrow keys or the Page Up/Page Down keys. Giving in 4 stars because it's a really nice presenter remote but I had to return it because the keys mapped don't match the documentation. Will probably work great for most applications but if you want to use this with ProPresenter, buy something else.

The clicker is wonderful light and appears to be constructed well. It felt good in my hands and does not cause fatigue while holding it for long term. The plastic is matted and does not show fingerprint easily. The packaging suggested this was for airline safety. The USB receiver is housed in the battery compartment, which was a nice feature. The receiver is rather large as it sticks our about 1/2 or so from the side of my laptop. None the less, I plugged this little device into my laptop and it did not need any configuration. I tested with Powerpoint and Smartboard and both functioned as expected.As a bonus, the escape button would refresh webpages. I liked the blackout feature, which allowed you to blacken the screen during your powerpoint slide show. This feature is very nice if you want to take the focus off the slide during a presentation. Finally, the device has a laser pointer, which is bright enough to be seen during well-lit conditions.All in all, this device meets my need and with proper care should last for some time.
