Easy and cute herb garden
Moved into a flat with a balcony so wanted to make use of it and grow herbs. This kit was perfect. I planted the seeds, watered and covered with a clear bag for a couple of days and they started to grow. Really easy and everything included. Now bought another kit for a friend's housewarming gift. Mine pictured below sat I my balcony 'window box but it does come in its own wooden box (just visible in pic).

Brilliant Little Kit
I bought this for myself a couple of months ago, and having followed the instructions I now have a great tangle of herbs sitting in the kitchen window. They've grown really quickly and I'm impressed with the whole lot. The little pot they come in really adds to the whole look of it. This would make a great present for someone. I don't have anything negative with it, so five stars.

Growing nicely
Really pleased with this product, all seeds have germinated, the coriander appears the fastest grower with the parsley the slowest. It has taken a couple of weeks to get to this stage. The container is well made and I would definitely recommend anyone considering growing their own herbs to buy this. A warm sunny windowsill is a must though, don't overwater.

I like it
Update: About a month on and it's starting to get a bit mouldy. I'll look into ways to deal with that and update my review soon. On the bright side, some of the seedlings are growing. Not that many, though. To be honest, I got this not so much because I wanted more kitchen herbs, but because I liked the trough idea. The house needed a little rustic touch, so I knew I had to have this as soon as I saw it. I can buy new seeds anytime from the shops, no big deal, but I won't necessarily find a trough like this, with pots that are just the right size for it. And it's wooden, and so cheap! So, I put the herbs I already had in there, and they fit nice and snug onto that thick plastic inner lining. Then I planted the new seeds in the plastic pots, with the soil mixture provided. I have to say that it was quite dry and the bag leaked a bit upon arrival, but that's fine. When the new seedlings grow, I'll just replace these and update my review.

Lovely, Simple.
I bought this to grow in my classroom. I love having living things in there (other than the kids) and think it brings colour to the room! As well as providing opportunities to talk about life cycles as the kids watch them grow. This kit comes with a lovely box that sits nicely on the windowsill. I planted the seeds roughly a week ago and already we are seeing a few seedlings poking through!I'm hoping to get a class tortoise...! This little window box should provide some home grown food for him.A lovely, simple little kit that does what it should and what you expect. It would be a sound addition to a kitchen windowsill, as well as a classroom, I'm sure!
