The Edge Nails Silk Nail Strip 18inch

I am so glad I gave this a chance. Nails constantly breaking in various directions as soon as they reach the tip of my finger, I was desperate to try anything. There are a few reviews stating how difficult it is to open the packaging; unless the packaging has changed, I cannot understand this as listening to these comments, I was armed with scissors and all sorts to save my nails breaking when opening this. The hard plastic case could not have opened any easier...finger and thumb pushing opposite directions and it opened immediately. As for the silk...it is sheer...so fine with a slight tack to it...again a comment said it was difficult to separate from the backing...I do not find this. However, I had ordered the recommended brush on resin with this...and it was useless. Did not stick at all...remained tacky! Whilst waiting for this resin to be delivered though, I used the regular superglue with this silk and it worked absolutely beautifully! I followed advice from buyers on how to use resin with this silk but it just did not work...I have contacted supplier for advice. btw...I used this on my natural nails.

Wow! Why didn't I try these earlier? For so long I've been struggling with acrylic powder and the teabag method and all along the miracle answer was right here. I feel a little silly now! My split nail has been mended for over a week now and still going strong. Doesn't look like it'll need re-doing anytime soon. Purchased the Silk wrap with the Quick Dry Resin. With this resin I didn't need an Activator, it dried pretty fast on its own. Really happy with this product ☺

Perfectly holded my nail together for two weeks. Bought as broke my nail few days before holiday. All you need is to stick to a broken part and cover with nail Polish. It works!!!

Having split and cracked a few nails this popped up on a Google search as one to have, and MY GOD am I glad it did. Placed over the nail and trimmed (you WILL require assistance on doing your dominate hand, hubby trims my right) then painted and coated you would never know they are on. Now dont think it's going to last a lifetime, what with the daily tasks of washing, cleaning and working it manages a good two days. But it has saved my nail and sanity LOL

When I used to get my nails done at the salon, the nail technician used this on bad breaks and splits on my nail and I always found it worked so I bought it to use myself. So far I've found it works really well and I've even shared some with my work colleague. Yes, it can be a bit difficult to pull off the backing but that's a very minor issue for me.

I actually ended up using the fibreglass strip which I bought as a kit. I got this to stop my nails splitting - I am learning to play guitar. I found this stuff very effective in stopping splits.

After watching a video tutorial on how to use this product, I have managed an effective and neat repair on a badly broken fingernail. Relatively easy to use and I like that it is slightly sticky, as it made it easy for a rank amateur to apply. I did find removing the backing paper a little fiddly though but overall pleased with the result.

Terrible, honestly. Sticky backing paper to hold into place? Useless. Waist of my time and money and wish I had never put the resin on top of my nail. God awful smell of superglue which did infant stick my fingers together if I wasn’t careful with it, so it could quite have easily been superglue! I’ve had to file the nail right the way down after this useless product didn’t last a day. DO NOT BOTHER! I am sure there are other more methods that work better

very good for split nails , works even better if used with certain nail glue.

My nail kept splitting at the corner so I am in the process of using this silk wrap to prevent it and it seems to be working easy to use and you don't see it on the nail once you have buffed it a little.

Read the reviews and thought this would be great. Found it fiddly to cut, the adhesion into the nail was poor and after fixing and painting it lasted 2days before it started lifting off my nail.Tried it on my daughter as her nail had split slightly and the same has happened.

Well, I think a professional nail technician would have better luck than me with this stuff. I didn’t realise it was sticky. But it’s not that sticky. I cut small pieces to put over a split nail and it was difficult to separate the backing as they were both the same colour. The bits fell onto the floor and I think I stuck the backing on my nail at one point instead of the silk.Anyway when the Covid-19 lock down is done I will give it to my nail technician who will make good use of it.

I have found this brilliant to use, along with the resin, to save my long nails when they start to crack very low down. I now don’t have to cut all of my nails down, and start again.

These arrived just in time, due to lockdown my nails are a total mess ( waiting for starter Gel nail kit) I have 2 broken nails and have used the wraps and they have done the job perfectly I would highly recommend.

Love this nail wrap... it's so fine it hardly shows on unpainted nails but is totally undetectable once I've completed my manicure. I use it with resin and it's very long lasting.
