I love this product. I now allows me to use just one hand to place the phone on the stand and one hand to take it off. I would recommend this product to anyone. But I also have a few things I dislikes about it. I drive a 2014 Honda fit and the AC vents guides are pretty long, and the part on the phone mount that should hook the back of the vent guide doesn't work because it is not long enough to reach the back of the AC vent guide. This has caused the phone mount to fall off a few times. Now I use a tie strap to hold the mount to the vent. My next problem is that the feet of the phone mount that should hold the bottom of the phone is too short. If your phone does not have a case, then you won't have this problem, but for my phone that does have a case, I do worry sometimes if the phone will slide off. I still love this phone mount though.

Overall I am happy with this phone holder. It allows quick and easy access to picking up and putting down the phone. It grips to your vent blades really well and doesn't slide around. The blades for my car are a little longer than the clamp so the part of the clamp that is supposed to grab the back of the blade won't reach. It's still sturdy regardless.My one gripe about it is that its heavy with the phone on, so the tilts the vent downward. Making that vent almost unusable if you want it to point anyone but down. Also I worry about the heat in the car this winter affecting the phone with the vent blowing directly into the back of the phone. I tried it out this morning and the phone was pretty hot to touch after picking it up. But the heat dissipated fairly quickly.

So many companies that make accessories for cell phones often fail to remember that the majority of phones live in cases. This product has a heat sink which is a great idea as phones heat up when in in GPS mode. However, does not do any good with a cased phone. Additionally, the supports at the base of the holder need to be about 1/8" longer to accommodate phones in Otterbox style cases. Mine will rest on the supports and works OK as long as the road is smooth. It has popped out a couple of times while crossing railroad track. Wouldn't even think of using it in a landscape (on side) configuration as is. Pops right out. Could be a great holder with just a couple of tweaks.

This cell phone holder works most of the time for my iphone 7 model. I liked the flexibility of it (what vent do I want to put it in?) but some spots were better than others. It usually held my phone for short trips but if there were quick curves my phone and/or the holder would fall out. Good for the price, but I will keep searching for a more reliable model.

Love the mechanism for holding your phone. Very easy to put your phone in and take it out. Doesn't get in the way of the charging port. Holds firmly to the vent. Easy to adjust the angle and position so that it faces you perfectly. My only grip is that the bottom supports for the phone are right over the speakers of the iPhone. I guess that is where the mic is so people have complained that I sound a bit muffled to them.

I love the concept. I recently used it on a road trip to watch Hulu..the device kept slipping out of holder. I wish it allowed room for my pop socket. Unfortunately, I had to take the case off of my phone so that it fit in the holder..also the holder kept slipping out of the vent. I didn't want to use the tape because I wanted the versatility of changing where I was going to use it. All in all it's nice.

Hey guys I just got this item today and wanted to give my opinion about it, I order this item becausebecause here in Minnesota a law just passed that it's call hands free so we are not allowed to hold our phones for any reason while driving and the price was really good, I wasn't sure of how good the quality was gonna be, because they say you get what you pay for right lol but this item it's really good ,high quality and very strong it can hold my Google pixel 3 xl with a case on it with out any problem , here in Minnesota roads are terrible potholes everywhere , and yet this phone holder managed to keep very steady ,I'm really happy with my purchase

It's very difficult to find a good cellphone holder for vertical vents, but this one is pretty good. My only issue is that when I am on really bumpy roads, my phone falls out because the grips are too short to truly hold my OtterBox Defender case.
