TOPHORT-Upgrade 1000 Watt HPS MH Electronic Dimmable Grow Light System Kits Air Cooled Reflector Hood Set-Easy to Set Up

I’ve been using the setup now for 3 months and here is my experience. The hood has a good seal and so far works well. The ballast seems to be of good quality and the dimmable switch is tight. I ran the metal halide for 2 months in veg and it did great. Yesterday, 25 days into bloom with the HPS, the bulb popped and was out. I had to replace my bulb immediately and spend more money which defeated the purpose of buying this inexpensive setup. Live and learn, BUY QUALITY BULBS. If you look closely at the photo you can see crumbs inside the glass bulb. That is what broke.

im impressed with TOPHORT's light kit. it was very cheap and came with everything you need and more. im very dissatisfied with the shipping. not sure if it was ups, usps, fedex, or who ever but it seems like they put very little effort into keeping peoples fragile material safe. i received 4 boxes. each box had 2 lights. each box had one broken light. so 4/8 lights broken. 2 hps and 2 mh.

When I plugged it in the cord arced out and caught fire.
