RGF REME HVAC-305 Air Purification System Light REPLACEMENT (PHIC-9R-GA)

Light worked... What can I say. It took a person over 30 minutes to put in but some of that was do to no instructions of how to do it.

This device Works as advertised. It change the quality of my air quickly. Unfortunately the device needs to be replaced every two years. the sticky surface that Attaches it to the interior of the furnace Took me three or four hours to scrape off. Then I had to re-tape it. Two years later I'll have to go through the same process.

Perfect replacement product.Note: The REME Has a silver plated plastic cover which houses the electronic controls that is connected to the base plate with screws that insert into the plastic. Grabbing it while removing the unit could break the cover off the base.

Never installed one before and have no experience. It was very easy and works perfectly. Came with everything you need.

Unit did not work upon arrival.

Buying this bulb as replacement for the Reme unit saved me almost $200. My handyman installed it for $20. It works great so far and I love this product as we have mildew issues in our crawlspace and the heating coolling unit is in the crawlspace. The mildew odor tends to updraft into the house. Pricy but is an identical replacement for an OEM product. Local HVAC company charges $75.00 more for the same product plus $125.00 labor fee. You can do it yourself but beware because I had a hard time un-plugging the original plasma bulb installed when manufactured. Use a little silicone spray to aid in removing the bulb from the electrical wire. Other than that issue goes in and thus far operates as the OEM plasma bulb.

Exactly what I needed and I saved $250.00. The A/C company was charging double the price. EASY to replace yourself. I will buy this again. Every 2 years. It is the life of the precious metals.
