Product turntable is also made of solid metal with threads and markings, unlike Edelkrone's plastic plate that barely supports anything heavier than few lbs. A keeper for sure! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to setup *by A***R on January 20, 2020* Works as expected. The best option would be to use in conjunction with a linear slider for a dual-axis movement. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Mixed feelings *by S***I on May 19, 2020* I bought two units in the brackets in order to shoot multi-row panoramas. First advice is to be extremely patient. Almost certainly you will be required to upgrade the firmware, a quite painful process. Sometimes it get stuck, doesn’t complete or takes forever. The error messages are somehow “discouraging”. Just keep trying and eventually you will get the the most recent firmware (currently 1.25 if I remember correctly). I use them with my Canon EOS R and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Behavior is so unpredictable to generate some frustration and disappointment. When it works flawlessly, it’s a beauty! Two types of problems, one ergonomic, and one operational: - the power button can be turned on by accident, for example in a packed bag or backpack. That means being out of power on the field. Haven’t found a way to control on/off, but will do more research - struggling to device to fire my camera, and behavior is unpredictable.
