All handmade authentic cotton Turkish pestemal. Woven by traditional methods. The ecru color Turkish Towel decorated with soft blue and grey stripes. The fine and easy-dry fabric is additionally very absorbent. Made of 100% cotton. Pestemal primarily used as hammam towel in Anatolia. Sultans of the Ottoman dynasty were also wearing pestemal in the hammam. Pestemal is a handicraft. Throughout history this Turkish towel was produced by weaving on hand looms by women in Turkey's eastern Black Sea and Aegean regions. Our products are not factory-made. All the pestemals are produced by traditional methods in a respectful manner to its origin, woven on hand looms and vegetable dye is used. Size: 180cm x 100cm Weight: 300 gr. Cotton.

Not as advertised. Pretty, but not absorbent.
This is beautiful, but even though I washed according to directions three times, they are like drying off with a sheet. Also, I ordered a hand towel and received a bath sized towel.
