variable power and fine temp control around boiling
I like this product for the following reasons:-You get a good 1800w cooktop without needed to spend more.-Many temperature choices and they are not linear. Instead you have MORE temperature choices that cluster around boiling (212F/100C) which is important because this is the zone where things boil/burn/dry and you need the granularity (depending on cookware shape/size/and food item). For the record the choices are: 120F, 150, 180, 200, 220, 240, 260, 280, 300, 320, 340, 370, 400, 430, 465. You can see how you can get fine detail around the temperatures that matter.-The power level choices (as opposed to temperature) are truly variable. (1800w down to 200w in increments.) What this means is that the "200w" setting (for example) does not just cycle "quick on, then off, off, off, off, quick on, off, off, off", etc. The cooktop actually puts out a constant 200w (or whatever power you choose). So you can start something boiling, for example, then back it off to the power where it just barely boils and stop lowering. It won't be clicking on/off. (Note that the temperature levels DO cycle on and off to maintain temperature).-I tested the temperature levels with a plate of water. At "200F" setting it did not boil, at "220F" it did boil - exactly as expected (212F boil temp at sea level). (However I have found that if the entire unit is used for a while and heats up overall that the temperature settings will not be as accurate, however this doesn't become a problem because you have more clustered around boiling and can 'find' that exact point without much setting drift.)-Cooktop is 'matte' type finish (slightly bumpy) which is better than the shiny smooth type. By being bumpy the heat won't transmit back to the glass top as easily. It is also easier to 'shake/stir' a skillet with your hand since it moves better vs a perfect smooth top (which might have water or a bit of food on it.)-The buttons are ACTUAL buttons that are pushed and click, these buttons are not capacitive/touch buttons (which you can accidentally hit/change on other models if you are wiping the unit such as if some liquid boils over onto the panel while cooking and you want to clean it. On other models cleaning the panel can often turn it off or change settings as you wipe across it.)-Only (slight) negative is that the LED display panel needs a tinted cover to better differentiate the lit vs unlit portions. You can see on the product images that the panel allows you to actually see the LED component and it appears that the reading is hard to see due to a lack of contrast. In actual usage this isn't really a problem in a kitchen setting, but if I made it the LED panel would be slightly smoked in color to correct this.

Very fast heating induction cooktop!
**If a magnet does NOT stick to your pan, then that pan will not work with an induction cooktop! **This by far is a quality and well built induction cooktop. It ranges in wattage with the adjustable digital selectable buttons. A maximum wattage of 1800 is pretty amazing... It heats up pans rather quickly compared to a traditional burner or electric stove top.It works on all pans that are induction compatible, easiest way to check if this is compatible with your pans is to see if a magnet sticks to it. If a magnet sticks to your pan, then it will work with the induction cooktop. If a magnet does NOT stick to your pan - it will NOT work with ANY induction cooktop.

Very Powerful for It's size!!!
This induction cooktop is absolutely crazy. We have been cooking on plug in burners for a little while now and always struggled with not enough heat to cook properly. Boiling water was always a major chore......NOT ANYMORE!!!! This thing boils water like the pot is empty! If you have never cooked with induction.....you have never cooked before!

Wouldn't honor cash back offer
In the box there was a card for a $30 cash back offer. When I tried to claim this Sandoo (not Amazon) said in an email "We are sorry that the induction cooker you bought is not sold in our shop, so we cannot give you a $30 refund. The store where you bought the induction cooker is directly managed by Amazon. The name of our shop is: SYTECH US." The card said nothing about this restriction and even had a large Amazon logo.As far as the product itself I am satisfied, but it should be mentioned it didn't work with my Tfal 1 quart sauce pan. The owner's manual says a pan has to be at least 4.7" in diameter, but the Tfal pan is 6" across.

Poor quality control .👎
Pros: The copper coils create a magnetic current with the pot. Heat up very fast . LCD controller . ☺ Cons : Not 100% safe. Exposure to EMF radiation if we stand too close . Poor quality control. Noisy cooling fan. Overheated after 3 minutes. 😞
