Good, but you can injure your animal with it
I bought these shears for my goldendoodle and they work very well! I gave 4 stars because I did accidentally cut my dog’s chest a little bit, which is sad. I know this is for sheep technically, but you should really be careful because it is possible to cut their skin and cause bleeding.

Dull and ineffective for shearing
Used for sheep shearing. After 5 minutes of use, the blades were dulled to the point of gnawing and pulling at the wool. The motor overheated and the speed kept fluctuating. Instead of taking 10 minutes to shear a sheep, it took two hours. I eventually gave up and used scissors to finish the job. I reapplied blade coolant/lube throughout the process without any difference in effectiveness. Do not waste your money. Buy something higher quality if you want to get the job done.

A waste of time an money
A waste of time an money. They got to hot to handle with in a couple of minutes. I returned them.
