Manual Heavy Duty Restaurant Can Opener, Black. Made in USA

Got this thing today to replace http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RKNBM9I opener I bought on Amazon that broke in 3 months. First impressions, this thing is a tank compared to the broken product. Time will tell how it holds up. Its hard to find a can opener that lasts like old ones did. I hope this one fills the bill.

This can opener is exactly as advertised - in other words, it works great. It appears to be well made and it is easy to use for both me and my wife. We have tried several $15 to $30 store bought openers and they don't work very well at all and are cheaply made in China. They look good, but don't do the job. This can opener opens cans in a breeze and looks like it will last for 30 years like our old all metal made in USA opener that finally wore out. So far we are very happy with this opener and the price we paid was very inexpensive. Thanks for still making a great product that actually works as advertised. I will probably be buying a couple more for our grown children, since they have experienced the same problems with the nice looking, but cheaply made Chinese openers.

I ordered this product specifically because it said it was made in the good ol' U.S. of A... only to find out it's just another cheap can opener from China.

Does not cut can tops cleanly and completely

One of the reasons I picked this particular product was based on the reviews and the fact it is made in the USA. The product being advertised is not the one I received. I received a Swing-A-Way can opener that is made in China. Have not used the product yet.

Can opener works great just be careful because it has some sharp spots around the edge of the it, mother in law cut her self pretty bad when she grabbed it out of the drawer.

This opener is easy to use, and it opens cans very efficiently with out any problems. It is a heavy duty opener, surpassing all the hand held openers that I have used in the past. The rating I gave for smooth operation and ease of use. As I examined it closer, the stamped metal parts are sharp and they have burrs that need to be cleaned up, being a Machinist most of my life I look at metal parts that could be sharp and hazardous to the operator.

So far this has worked great. It does seem a little more heavier duty than typical can openers.
