Cajon Pedal Remote

I've wasted my $$ on cajon pedals that used metal cable that always breaks and can't be fixed or replaced. Then, I saw this and thought, " Wow, that's expensive!!" But, then I thought about the over $600 I've spent on three cajon pedals, so I bought this. Wow!! It's tough, adjustable and fits, whether I'm sitting on the cajon playing guitar, or have it in front of my keyboard while I play behind it. This will last till it rusts. Worth every penny!

Why cant I give it a four star?It's well constructed. It's a work horse. I read many reviews about the cable type cajon pedals before arriving at this one. They all mentioned the same thing. Those cables would break. I also believe that they probably had bad placement of their pedals in relation to the beater. In either case this pedal can take a beating while giving a beating.The downside that I overlook and don't really care:The bracket that secures the cajon to the pedal uses a screw/vise system. The bracket is a bit long and not adjustable. That's what the screw is for but it's too short for my two cajones.Why I don't care,The pedal comes with Velcro and I used them on a carpeted surface. They adhere to that surface very well. My big rump is on the cajon which is also on that same surface which means neither pieces are going anywhere. The added upside is that I can swap out my cajones at any time without fidgeting with a vise screw. Those are my thoughts hope they help out. You're welcome.

This pedal is great.Solid, responsive, adaptable to many playing configurations (left & right foot, front & side strike).Brings a whole other dimension to Cajon playing.

Easy to set up. No cable. Very solid. No cable pedal can touch this pedal. Very happy with it.

The price of this pedal may be steep, but the action is so much better than cable linkages I have tried. It has a number of adjustments so it can be used either on the side tapas (panel) of the De Gregorio cajon, or on the front of other cajons. Beater is foam and sounds very nice--I have played it pretty forcefully and no visible damage to the tapas occurred. Bandmates like the bass sound of the cajon better than my kick drum when mic'd through PA (using D112 AKG right in front of rear port). Looks pretty well made and should stand up to regular playing. No cable to replace as well. Highly recommended.
