Bolt Car Mount and Qi Fast Wireless Charger with Auto Sense Locking for iPhone X, XS, 8, Plus, Galaxy S10, S9, S8, and Qi-Enabled Devices

Seems to charge at a decent speed. Really like the sensor feature to automate the grips to tighten and release the phone. Holds in place and seems sturdy while vehicle is moving.Major downside! It interferes with the operation of my vehicle’s audio system, touch screen display, navigation system, voice recognition, camera controls. While using the charging and or while the mount is powered on, it stops all of the above features I listed from working. I found when I powered off this product, all functionality of my vehicle features return.

This is my fourth, going on fifth, Bolt Car Mount. This newer model hasn’t even lasted an entire month before the motorized arms stopped working inexplicably. The same thing happened to the three other ones I owned as the older model. The concept is great and, as a delivery driver, offers much convenience, but they are not reliable. If I wasn’t eligible for a return, I would just try a different company.Also, a minor thing in comparison, but the old model put the release switch on the top, making it easy to grab your phone when getting out of the car. This new model, however, puts it on the left side of the mount, making it extremely difficult and frustrating for those who are right handed.

The ability to open/close without power went away after two weeks. Now the car must be turn on for it to work. I should have returned it then. Besides that it works. The vent clamp works poorly on a Toyota Prius.

The car mount works fully as advertised. Very easy to put together and functions properly. I'm not crazy about the location of the arm retract button. I put my phone holder on the inside driver vent (1st vent right of steering wheel) and to release my phone I have to reach my right hand around the entire holder, going between it and the vent, and it feels awkward and like I could bump into the holder withdrawing my hand and knock the phone out of the holder. I know to fix this I'll have to settle with the holder on the outside driver vent near the driver window and that opens up other possibilities of something happening to my phone.

This is the second mount I bought, one per car. They work great. Sometimes the mount does wiggle loose from the vent, so I check it every so often when I get or put my phone there. I use an iPhone 10x Max with a small case and it fits and charges fine.

I had high hopes after installing this. It fit on an air vent and seemed to be secure. However, after putting my iPhone 8 Plus in it, I went to adjust it, and it came loose from the weight of the phone. Eventually, I adjusted it to an angle as far as I could to rest the back of the phone facing upward. That helped for a bit, but any adjustments continue to loosen the phone holder.

The case provides wireless charger and a secure grip for my iPhone XR. I use the charging slot for the headphone jack connector to my car stereo, and the case is designed with a groove to accommodate the cord.My only slight negative is more of a worry than a criticism. The arms adjust automatically, and I would like a manual backup in case the automated motors failed or stopped holding the phone as securely.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago. Same day.. a little tiny metal pin popped out of the back of mount.My iphone kept showing a warning because it got too hot when AC is not on.Plus, it barely get charged-Drove from Los Angeles to San Diego and not even half way through the phone died while GPS was on.
