Watercool HEATKILLER IV PRO (Intel Processor) Acetal (18005)

This waterblock is well reviewed around the net, and for good reason.It keeps my i7-2600k with a mild OC (4.2Ghz) below 50C at all times. Those are temps I can most certainly deal with!Everything on it is sturdy and well-machined. The copper plate for heat transfer has a very, very near mirror finish and the unit can be disassembled if other brackets should become necessary for future sockets (as I understand it).Installation was quite easy, though I do wish they included a back-bracket. Even looking online, it was a bit tricky to find one for the 1155 socket. Many places had them listed, but were actually unavailable once you went to the page. Despite that, the included mounting hardware did a reasonably good job, though even through multiple remounts, I was simply not able to get all cores as close as I would like (best I could achieve was 3C, with 4C-5C being annoyingly common). Different systems for different sockets were clearly labelled and separated.Fittings screwed in wonderfully smooth and I suspect this waterblock will serve me well for many years to come.

To anyone that decides to purchase the absolute number 1 cpu block on the market just be aware that this is not everything you need to mount it. There is a backplate for 1151, 1155 etc. It should be used to allow it to mount properly and it does not come with the block. Amazon does not sell it either. I ordered mine from England and it took almost 3 weeks to get here so ya
