I am impressed with the quality and price of this chisel set. Came sharp right out of the case. Real wood handles and feels good in the hands with good weight. Goes through wood smoothly with my wooden mallet. Thanks for a great set.

Great set right out of the box. The chisels are sharp and well honed. Storage sleeve is nice. Just make sure that you put edge guards on chisels before putting into storage sleeve. The wood handles have a nice finish. Appears to have a light coat on it. Yes, it is natural wood.

I have reviewed this product, and am actually uploading another review of this product to Youtube but want to leave one here. I give this 5 stars for the packaging, 4 stores for the over all design of these chisels, 2 and a half stars on over all construction of these chisels which is where most of my problems with this product lay. As the chisels show minor defects in the craftsmanship, that cause me to feel like these are not a professional grade chisel or a chisel that a professional would use.The metal chisel blades show signs of rust, and are covered in some kind of sticky substance as well as have small pits or defects in the blade. Which gives the impression that they have been kept in a damp warehouse. The sticky substance I think is meant to be some kind of rust inhibitor or something meant to protect the blades, which is not evenly applied to the chisels if that is what it is meant to do.The metal banding at the top of the handles where you would hit with a hammer also looks bent and is loose fitting on some of the handles, as well as that some of the handles look mis-shapen where the top banding is causing improper fitting of the banding. As well as one of the handles also looked damaged just below the top banding as if it was forced on to the handle in an attempt to make it sit properly. Also the finish on some of the handles looks as if it is some kind of polyurethane, and that is obviously not uniformly applied this leaving an inconstant finish. As well as that some of the metal chisel blades are not set into the handles properly, so that they are not flat with the flats on the handles. So over all gives the impression of a cheap shoty made tool.I do like that the handles are made of wood, and the way they are shaped but am not pleased with the finish that they have as I feel like will get slippery while in use if you are using. As I would prefer that the handles had some kind of Danish oil or gun stock oil finish on them, which would hold up better under long term use. But you cannot have everything in a cheap set of chisels.I would not recommend these for professional use, but I think they will probably hold up for occasional use. The over all value of these chisels is good for someone just starting out. But I would recommend them for someone who is just getting into wood working, and trying to build their toolbox on a budget with budget tools. And they will probably make a nice set of chisels to pass on to your child or grand child who maybe proud to own grandpa's or grandma's chisels that they used to make a really beautiful table with as long as they are taken very good care of.

This was a gift for my husband and he loves them! He's just starting to do woodcarving and these are perfect! Strong, well balanced,sharp and very durable! I would recommend them highly!

Functional quality product at a great price! Very pleased with purchase.

Should mention that they have to be honed.

This is my first chisel set and I love it. All of the blades where nice and sharp and I did not have to do anything out of the box. Love the pouch which keeps everything organized and damage free as well. My only wish would be that there a be a curved chisel included but that does not detract the from product quality or desire to purchase in any way.

Long time wood worker and needed to show off a nice set of chisels to my dad. For the price and quality I new I couldn’t go wrong, I really like these. Blades are extra sharp right out of the box, or I should say pouch cause it comes with one. Received the product immediately and I’m very satisfied.
