Great little magnets. Good strong grip. Used them for an "invention" of mine.. Bought these lights (http://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Waterproof-Off-road-Auxiliary-Driving/dp/B00T62RK1U?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true) and attached to these magnets. The bolt included with the lights won't fit through the magnet hole so you have to find your own in the garage... Then I hooked up a 10 foot cable with a cigarette lighter adapter on the end. Now I have a perfect light to "mag mount" to my truck when camping or if working under the hood or changing a tire I can attach it pretty much anywhere on the body (flat, on the side, upside down under the hood) (Get a bumper sticker and cut a circle out and stick to the bottom of the magnet to protect your finish). I also power it from one of those jump start packs I have. With the jump start pack you have a bright portable light you can take anywhere.

I was unhappy with the magnetic towel bar options available, so I made my own using these magnets and am very happy with the results. The opening was the perfect size for the screw that attached the short piece on the standard wall-mount towel bar that juts out from the wall to the actual towel bar. Easy-peasy. The magnets are just strong enough to allow me to open my dishwasher by pulling on the towel bar, but only if I gently pull. If I tug too hard, they will slide and could scratch the surface. It's worth noting that my dishwasher takes a surprising amount of force to open for some reason, so perhaps on others there would be zero issue at all.

I used two of these to attach a light bar to a JD 1025R ROPS. They're pretty good magnets and hold the bar in place decently well (when shaken REALLY hard, it fell off once). I'm quite happy with the magnets though.

I gave it a low star score for easy to remove because they are NOT easy. When you want something to stay put, this is your magnet. But. Do not put it on something where you can't slide it to an edge because it is super hard to move once it connects to metal. Save the cardboard that comes with it to stack these together or you'll have a hard time getting them apart. We needed to use it to secure a pipe and it did the trick. It holds in place tightly. But we can remove it when we need. Good price too! ~KB

These are very strong magnets! On the other hand, they work perfectly. The screw hole is metric, they can be hard to remove, and they can cause scratches. I put a layer of clear packing tape on the bottom so dust won't mar fine finishes. If you need better protection, a thicker cushion will help, but will reduce the holding power. These hold better than some larger bases, my TIG torch holder works better than when it was new.

The magnets don't have quite enough strength to keep them on my oil filter when riding my street bike motorcycle, but would probably work well with a K & N oil filter which have a nut in the middle.

Perfect for VHF/UHF magnetic auto antennas

Used to cover large knockout hole in outside breaker box. I regularly replace desiccant bag thruogh this opening to prevent condensation moisture. Glued rubber washer (old inner tube) onto magnet face and attached 1/4” eyebolt for handle. Sure beats duct tape that I was using before.

The magnets are great and super strong. So strong that when they attach to each other when not yet attached to something else it's nearly impossible to get leverage to separate them from each other. Overall I'm happy with the product. Would prefer if these were sold in even number packages (2 or 4 would be better, IMO)

These magnets are very strong. I use them for making hockey stick team signs for my kids hockey teams. Magnet has a wide base and strong hold.
