Fiskars Pinking Scissors, Length: 23 cm, for Right-Handed Users, Stainless Steel Blade/Plastic Handles, Orange, Classic, 1005130

I bought these for my mom who has some arthritis in her hands but still sews. Unfortunately these scissors are so stiff she can’t use them at all and they were even difficult for me to use after spraying WD-40 on them. So disappointed as Fiskars has been a trusted brand for years. I’ll try taking them to the man that sharpens knives and scissors to see if he has any ideas.

sharp, crisp cutting

I've had these pinking shears for almost 6 years now and hardly used them. The description says "effortless cutting", which could hardly be further from the truth. They are extremely stiff, cutting with them hurts my hand and opening them again is a two handed job.There is no tension screw and therefore no way to loosen them. Swearing at them doesn't seem to help, I've considered hurling them at the wall which probably won't help either, although it might make me feel a bit better!I'm on a mission now to find a pair that work properly!

compared to my other pairs of frisker scissors the handles feel very cheep , the holes for your fingers are small making them quite uncomfortable , the blades feel rough when cutting and don't cut well though thicker fabric .i honestly can imagine these are any better than the very cheapest pairs you can find on amazon ,i strongly advise you don't waste you money on these

I have owned a pair of pinking shears for many, many years and decided to buy a new pair. There was a big choice and prices varied, but I decided eventually to purchase a Friskars pair. A little dearer than some but well worth the money. I hasten to add I have a pair of Friskars dress making scissors and they are just perfect. I am all set now with essential tools. Hope this helps! They arrived extremely quickly once ordered, and came well packed.

I thought when I bought a Fiskars product that I was buying quality. These scissors are awful. They don’t cut smoothly and are difficult to open and close when cutting fabric. Nothing like the other pair of ordinary Fiskars scissors that I own. Expensive and disappointing
