Really odd and inconsistent behaviors...but works (with a caveat)
So yeah, this is a strange device. It's definitely a bit of a hack getting Magsafe2 to play ball with USB-PD.FIrst, note the highly ambiguous wording on the description - it outputs 45 Watts (max), but stamped on the device is a notification that it'll require a 62 or 87w Apple power adapter.Of course, that's not entirely true since I had some success getting it to work on a Lenovo 65w USB-PD power brick (FRU 02DL128 off my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 6).It seems like the adapter represents itself as a 60w charger, which is more than sufficient to run my 11" Macbook Air. Battery health 2 reports that the charge rate through it is around 11-12w, which is consistent with the Apple OEM charger and through the adapter with an Apple USB-C PD62 and a Lenovo PD65 adapter. The real headscratcher was getting it to work with a RavPower RP-PB058 (it's their 26800 mAH highest capacity battery with USB-C PD30). How the heck did I manage to have a 45w PD adapter to work on a 30w PD battery? So yeah, it seems to work fine, but I am not sure how it impacts the long term health of the battery in my MacBook Air.A major issue, though, is quality control - mine only lasted me about 7 months before it fell apart. Having that power converter on one end of the cable really did a number on the MagSafe 2 connector end of the cable - it tends to droop due to the weight induced, and there are no reinforcement at that area. It works, but damn itโs fragile.

Freaking convenient!
Just love such gadgets. I have various laptops and tablets and occasionally bring one in the office where I only use a single USB C charger. Ok for my Air 2018 but for older models with Megasafe 2, this converter is perfect. In the photo you can also see converters for USB Mini devices and for Microsoft Surface 6 Pro.I highly appreciate that this converter does not get heated (another one from Megasafe 2 to USB C was getting embarrassingly hot).

Worked for a Minute and Only That.
Worked for a minute.Literally.Company wanted to be compensated for the return shipping fee, but after a few emails back and forth, I did receive a prepaid shipping label.Bummer though, no one has made an actual functional Macbook MagSafe 2 converted cable yet. I get it, in a way. Apple is pretty strict on their third party affiliates attempting affordable functionality for their top-dollar expectations. Rather than pumping out the "beta" attempts, maybe just, I don't know, stop?
