These are absolutely junk. Took my 50lb 5 month old lab for a walk. When he hit the end of the chain and leash the rings separated and flew off as I was now chasing a lab thru traffic and town. What a joke.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOUR DOG IS WEAK. We bought this a 1 1/2 years ago and it just broke. One of the links just came free and he ran across the street to another dog. we were lucky that there were not pass cars and that our dog is not aggressive. Would consider this junk now.

It worked well for about a week. Then it broke. It wasn't horribly made, it just didn't last long.

Cheap metal. The metal is leaving my dog's white fur a dingy grey color.

The chain seems a bit light but, so far it works. My 70+ pound dog is fairly well-behaved so he does not pull much.The purpose of this purchase was for use when walking in more crowded spaces, to remind the dog that he remains by my side. It works for my needs.

The collar was not as heavy a gauge as they used to make them. But it served my purpose.
