If you are trying to connect a headset mic or Lavalier mic with a TA4 connector. This will not work. It does exactly what it describes which is to adapt TA4 to XLR however because of different bias in the different manufacturers condenser mics it could potentially damage the mic. There are adapters available however I am unaware where to purchase. Also you would need to know what works with what manufacturer.

Very good product, have not had an issue with them. A bit bulky, may not be great for tight spaces

I have some 50 xlr's that I needed to convert from female to male jacks for a short term project. That allowed me to use 1/4" jack on one of my mixers. This worked great! It saved a few bucks.

They do what they are suppose to do nicely, I didn't compare them to well known brands as I rarely use any. I just need to have them in my tool kit so I have them when I need any.
