Computer Literacy BASICS: Comprehensive Guide IC3

I purchased this book for my wife, so she could test out of a basic computer class that she did not really need. This book is a comprehensive text on about everything, and covers more than is needed to pass the IC3 test. It would be a great book for someone who wants to be a computer tech, as it covers all areas of IC3 with great detail. It would also make a good class textbook for a comprehensive computer overview course. However, it is way too much for someone wanting to simply review or learn a few basic items from the test. It was easier to simply explain a question/answers, or show her how to accomplish the tasks. The number of pages is significant, so finding simple answers is not in scope.Summary: it is a fantastic and comprehensive textbook, but a poor review text.

Slightly basic. this seems to be for someone who has no knowledge.

this book seems a little more than just basic computer literacy or at least for someone like me with truely basic computer knowledge, i recomend this book for anyone who would like to know a little more on how to use the computer then simply how to turn on/shut down, type in a web address and send e-mail.

Really helps me understand computers. Very basic and in English.

So I ordered this book new hardcover and its great! BUT! ITS MISSING THE SOFTWARE!!! I was so upset :c but amazing book!

It was ok, but a lot of the projects are confusing. They are to wordy if that makes sense.
