Not gobindobhog
Whatever this rice is, it’s not gobindobhog. That I am pretty sure about. Grains are bigger and looses the initial raw aroma after cooking. When I saw the cooked rice I was pretty much sure that I got robbed with this buy.

False claim
The product was purchased assuming it was Gobindo Bhog. I also talked to representative of the company. I was assured product was genuine Gobindo Bhog from Medinapore.It was a false claim. Yesterday our friend's place, real Gobindo Bhog procured from Big Basket was served. There is no comparison between what I have procured and the one from Big Basket.

Quite Happy with the Rice

Devakshat rice is just wholesome treat for all the rice lovers out there.... The quality of each grain of rice once made is very different from other rice varieties in the market... The overall experience including the awesome fragrance makes you want to go for more and more... But watch out for over eating...

No smell no taste.
Gobindobhog rice always smell nice but this packet of rice doesn't smell anything I bought this to make kheer and pulao I am totally dissapointed. The name is only gobindo bhog rice.

Don't buy
No falvor or smell of Gobindo bhog rice. It looks like gobindo bhog, but it seems like duplicate one. Never found gobindo bhog rice without any smell.After opening the packate there was no aroma. After or during cooking no smell at all. Khichdi made with this rice doesn't felt like as it should be. Very poor quality. Not recommended to buy.
