Umberto U Color-8.0 Natural Blonde

I used to love this stuff - I have used it for years. Lately, the color is uneven and it does not cover grey, even if you recolor one week later. I wonder if they changed the formulation?

Great natural hair color

Based on previous knowledge, I knew most demi colors laid down darker and to pick 2 shades lighter. With all the reviews here and other sites, I decided to go 3 shades up. The color actually lightened more than I wanted and there was a bit of stinging on the scalp. Remember, this color is not a deposit only but a low ammonia brand. This requires anywhere from 3 to 10% peroxide to enter the hair shaft to lighten. For the price it's good because she get two packets. The gel consistency was thick and I chose to use a brush and bowl. Experience seems to vary on this product.
