I can get out of my truck! Was not looking forward to throwing myself out the window of that big damn truck! These saved me from landing in lots of mud and rocks. Only bought the handles if you're a patient person with a gentle hand you shouldn't need anything else. Take it slow and take your panel off and you may need to bend your door bar out a little bit so you don't keep having this problem witch or inherit in these type of trucks. You can find YouTube videos on how to do this. Did not need to disconnect the door lighting and all at just did it gently it went beautifully I am so very pleased. Took about hour do both doors .

ordered these and was excited because they were so very inexpensive. when i received them and went to install the first one it fell apart during install and had to go purchase bolts to put them together as the only thing holding the locking mechanism was a very thin piece of plastic. Then one of the plastic clips that hold it in the door, broke off You don't expect to have to repair a brand new object you get in the mail. Don't waste your time.

I have 3 vehicles that take these door handles, I ordered what was currently needed and an extra. Keeping the latches and striker post adjusted properly will prevent further breakage I hope.

They work great. Easy to install. 1/4 the price from the dealer.

Replaced both door handles in my old 1995 GMC 1500. Only one rivet to drill out on each side, took a couple hours to replace both.
