This is a very well made leash, and the handle is soft as advertised! I foresee that this will last me a long time! It is abit more leash than I need for my 13lb dog, and the fastening hook is quite heavy which doesn't work so well with our gentle leader harness, however on a bigger dog/harness I don't think this would be a problem. Also the red is really more of a raspberry which I don't mind!

I really like these cloth leashes. They are softer to the touch than the nylon and gentler on your wrist when you are walking a sniffing bloodhound! When a scent catches her nose, our big girl starts pulling like a horse! This leash makes that less painful. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because the cloth is very chewable. Less than a month later, I am buying a replacement because she has nearly chewed through it.

I ordered this leash for my Labrador Retriever to use with a new harness. The harness has a very large attachment hasp and this leash fits it perfectly. In addition, the padded handle is a great added feature. This is going to be my go to leash when he goes with me on Therapy Dog visits. I ordered this because of the good reviews -I gave this product one star for these two reasons:1) I sometimes let my dog go off leash & drop the leash on the floor. Usually the nylon leashes doesn't get dirty, but this one gets black from the street asphalt within a minute.2) After washing it about four times, the red dye is extremely faded.Also the soft cotton handle quality has diminished dramatically- but that one is to be somewhat expected.3) If i'm going to be paying $13 for a leash I expect it to at least lat me a year -- i've come back on here after having it for about that length of time and I just wouldnt recommend to buy.But a leash is a leash, it still keeps my dog from running away, just would prefer the cheap nylon leashes.

I bought this leash for my 8 mos old cavalier because I wanted a leash that was comfortable to hold and wouldn't irritate my dog. It's soooo soft and was one of the only cotton leashes that I've found! The only downside is that it's a little thick but that's my own fault. It would probably be more suitable for a bigger dog but still works fine for me!

while this product might be good to train your dog, the workmanship on this leash was horrible, Hadn't even used this leash and the stitching on the handle had already come apart. Returned to Amazon now its not available to order, not like someone didn't see how poorly this leash was made and shipped it out anyway.

This is a great leash for the money. We are currently in the process of leash training a very large puppy and it is very comfortable to use. Shortly after I ordered it, I also received a very helpful email with some puppy training tips- great for new dog owners like myself. Would definitely recommend this leash to others.

Good leash. I have 80 lb dogs that I'm using this with. Seems well made but it is cotton, not the normal webbing. Hopefully it will lastUpdate: After a handful of uses, the stitching has come loose. :(. I'll be looking for another leash. It was really nice while it lasted
