Solid product, but the blue indicator light is a terrible idea
The adapter works fine, but the blue indicator light would be a deal breaker, if I could find an alternative. Why would anyone want a bright blue light while listening though headphones?!I use this adapter to connect headphones at night when in bed, and also in the car to connect to the sound system. The blue light is incredibly inappropriate in both cases. I've covered it with a couple layers of electrical tape, but it still shines through in a dark bedroom. I have to turn the phone away from me so it doesn't keep me awake. Without the 2 layers of tape, it would light up the room with a dim blue glow, exactly the wrong color for sleeping.Otherwise a solid product.Note: if you want to activate the phone's speakers, you must disconnect the adapter, not just the headphones. Not a big deal for me, just an FYI.

Doesn't work for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 (tablet)
I bought this model based on a review that said it works for someone with the Galaxy Tab S5e, which is pretty similar to the Galaxy Tab S6. Well, it doesn't work for the Tab S6 (note that I'm talking about a tablet here, not the old Galaxy S6 phone ... Samsung's naming conventions invite confusion and search problems ...).The charging happens fine, but I plug in my headphones and the music still comes out of the tablet's own speakers. I.e., the handshaking isn't happening so that the tablet knows that I have headphones plugged in via an adapter to the USB-C port.I wish there was some way to figure out ahead of time which (if any) such device WOULD work without me having to buy stuff and then return it ! It's a basic thing that I think anyone might want --- to be able to charge AND listen to audio content at the same time.I have a hard time reviewing this fairly --- on the one hand it doesn't work for ME. On the other hand, it might be a fine product for those devices that it lists. I compromised and gave it 3 stars, but this is sort of arbitrary. I'd happily give it more stars if they provided a more complete list of what devices it does and does NOT work for, since this is obviously an issue.

Can charge and use wired headphone
This adapter allows me to plug in my headphone and charge my phone at the same time. The charging speed is just as quick as if I didn't use the adapter. With some of the recent phones coming out without a headphone jack, this comes in very handy since I still have some headphones that are not using bluetooth. The only problem I had was that the volume was very loud when I plugged in my headphone and there's no way to adjust the volume on my phone. This is not a problem when I'm in a loud environment but will be too much in a more quiet setting.

Charges and plays headphones at same time
I have no idea what phone companies thought when they removed the headphone jack port from phones. I feel this is a way underrated feature. In any case, this eliminates the need for bluetooth headphones while I am charging my phone. Now I can charge my phone and use my go to corded headphones at the same time. They have a much deeper sound than any bluetooth I have used. Couldn't be happier. I just wish I would have gotten this earlier. Anyhow, lesson learned, get a phone with a headphone jack or buy this adapter right away. Very happy now

Can't use it with the Note10+ which the manufacturer said in questions and on their site you could.
While the splitter does allow for the USB-C to charge the phone and the 3.5mm to send out sound, at the same time. They do not work together as intended on the Samsung Galaxy Note10+. When used together in a vehicle while using YouTube for example, changing the volume on either the automobile or the phone will cause the video to change to the next or previous video or restart the video, while also occasionally just doing this itself at random. Which makes this completely unusable in the most likely scenario in which you would want to make use of it.

Noisey!
UPDATE: I have used this indoors with my phone (Essential PH1) plugged in to the wall charger and a propane speaker with 3.5 input and find there is no electrical noise like in the car. So if you're going to possibly use it in an office or something like that, then it works fine. This adapter only works if charging at the same time. So use of the headphone jack requires charging at the same time. Unfortunately this item does not have any noise isolation. So electrical noise (humming and buzzing) get transmitter through the headphones jack. If used in a car (I figure that's where most will) the noise can be quite annoying, engine noise is constant whinning up and down and in my car stepping on the brakes produces a louder harsher buzzing. I gave charging power 3 stars as i can see it's charging but i didn't use it enough to see how well.

Well Built.
Sturdily built. Solid connection to my phone (wiggles a little but doesn't come out prematurely). Audio and charging work simultaneously and well. There is a slight audio delay initially, but otherwise clear sound. Box says it will not work with phones that have their own audio jack but it does just fine. Even works with the Nintendo switch for both as well!

Supports quick charging and has no audio lags.
What I was looking for when I purchased it was for something that I could use for mobile gaming which lets me use a wired headphones, still have the option to charge my phone, and be able work with my phonecase. I got lucky with the phonecase as it didn't interfere and I am not hearing any of the audio lags I was getting when I used any Bluetooth. I wasn't expecting it to support quick charging ,but I am glad it works though it.If there is a downside then it's that it probably doesn't support most telescopic gamepads , they clamp on the phone longways. I can't hold it against them since it was a gamble if it would fit or not. My phone is comparatively small and for two of the three telescopic gamepads I have it was a tight fit, and probably doing more harm than good. On the telescopic gamepad it did work with , the adapter successfully redirected the charging port so that gamepad's clamp didn't block it.
