AMK101 Ball Entry Door Knob Door knobs with Lock and Key Door Lock in Satin Nickel

My boyfriend helped set it up and got it done within about 15 minutes or less. It was easy and it seems as if the door works good THOUGH it also seems as if the door locks too easily to where it could unintentionally lock. I would be a bit careful when touching the lock because it could lock easily. But this would be could for someone who likes to silently lock their door.

A bit difficult to figure out since it was my first time installing one but once you read the directions, it’s pretty easy to grasp. Good quality for value and feels sturdy. This is my second one purchased and will be purchasing more in the future as I’m slowly changing all the locks of my home.

This unit does not lock from the inside. I can live with it because it's a temporary fix of the previous one that went bad.

After trying multiple times to install this lock which should only take 5 minutes I decided that it must be defective. Once properly installed it requires the force of Hercules to lock and unlock from either side. I even found my child stuck on the other side of the door at on point when I could not get the lock to unlock and decided that this would be a safety hazard.

I’m kind of functionally retarded so it took me like an hour and a half to do but my housemate got the same one and did it in five minutes, really good quality too. I got locked out of my room once though, and I had to pick the lock with two bobby pins and that only took me two or three minutes but that’s about average for these kinds of locks anyway.

The lock does work on this but it got bent on mine some how and i had to unbend it as much as possible they also should send instructions for that door nob not a different style not everyone knows how to install a door knob also it doesnt seem like a really good door knob i kinda feel like i should have just spent the extra money in gas and go get one from lowes this isnt the worst one i have seen but its not the best either

I have never installed a doorknob before so I had to look up some videos and do some trial and error. Once I installed it, it came out perfect! I use it for my bedroom to keep my family out when I'm not home so it works great. It also comes with two keys.
