Tamong Personal Portable Air Conditioner Arctic Air Cooler with Two Filter

Bought for small 8’x8’ office space with no windows or A/C. Hoped it would cool the space a little. Nah. When it says sit close....it means close. Like less than a foot from it. Can feel cool air then. It does blow cool air and if you use cold water, it blows cooler air. It will cool what’s immediately in front of it. Water does last several hours. That was good. Wasn’t running to get water every hour. I’m hot natured, so it might work better for someone that doesn’t like the temp way down around 50 degrees all the time.

The Water reservoir is very small and I've had to refill it about once every 3 hours. It's in a very small room 7x7 (49 square feet) and after 3 hours no change in room temp at all. There is a nice cool breeze that you can feel up to 3 feet away but after that nothing. Looking at similar products, I definitely paid too much but it does cool so I'm keeping it. Just can't recommend it at that price - worth maybe $15.

I'm going to keep it, but that's only because I don't want the hastle of returning it. It has barely any fan and I have it less than 2 feet away from me. It's easy to figure out and use, but to cool you down, it may work if it's in your face on a desk, but it's 85 degrees today and it's not denting my temperature without sitting right on top of it. My standard fan is doing more to cool me off. Maybe try in a tiny enclosed room with you right up on it, but anything else, not worth it.

I just got this about five days ago and it has been a blessing to use in my home office during the scorching heat in So Cal. I load it up with ice and water and it blows out cold air, like an air conditioner. I do wish it had a larger tank capacity, but nonetheless, it works as advertised and does a good job overall.

Works well. Used ice and water and cooled our 3 man tent.

There was no noticeable cooling from this little unit. The small room stayed as warm after the unit placement as it did before the unit was placed. Was moved to several locations within the room and still no noticeable difference.
