This had very high ratings and I expected it to work well for my son. Certainly it does the job but after about 20 good uses the head came detached from the handle (meaning the one piece molded metal snapped). Not much I can do since it was purchases in the spring, but it lasted a lot shorter than I expected with light use.

I do a lot of camping, and this axe is pretty amazing and handy to have around!It's super light weight, not bulky, fits onto my backpack straps without any problem, and love that it has a grounding spike attached to the bottom of it. I let my brother use it this past weekend, and he totally tried to steal it from me. I had to put him in his place really fast! lol.Yes, it is super sharp and it's very easy to sharpen when you need to it.With it being stainless steel, it's going to keep it's sharp edge for a while.I also like the nice casing for the axe. It covers the head completely, and slides on without any problems at all.The the wrap around side snap is great touch to keep it locked into place without feeling like you're gonna lose.If you're on the lookout for a great axe to go camping or hunting with, then this is completely a winner in my book!I was given this product at a deep discount to give my honest & unbiased opinion.

This thing is awesome! I ordered this axe for my son-in-law, but when I received it, I decided to keep it. I have been using it to cut tree limbs and larger trunked bushes in my yard. It is lightweight, easy to hold, and extremely sharp. The axe has two blades made of stainless steel that each have a ground and polished cutting edge. The larger blade is curved and approximately 4" long. The smaller blade is straight and approximately 2" long. The handle is covered with nylon survival rope that makes the axe comfortable to hold while using. The bottom of the handle is pointed and can be used to anchor the axe into the ground. The axe comes with a sheath that wraps around the blade and snaps closed. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this axe made by Makexpress. It arrived sharpened and ready to use. I was not expecting this nice of an axe when it arrived. It is a good weight and has a solid feel to it. The handle wrapped in a nylon cord makes it easy to grip. This is by far one of the sleekest hunting axe I have come across. It can also come in handy as a home defense weapon if you do not have a firearm handy. Be careful when handling it though, I ended up cutting myself when testing it to see how sharp it was.
