Himalayan Candles Spice Tin 15-Ounce Soy Candle, Large, Mountain Forest

I love this fragrance! So fresh. I bought to give as gifts, but decided I deserved it more! The store where I originally purchased it was out so I found on line and stocked up.

This is a beautiful but weakly scented candle.This soy candle is beautifully presented. The tin is just gorgeous, and the real wood top has a rustic finish that's perfect.I chose bourbon vanilla in this candle because I love vanilla scents. When the Amazon box arrived, it was easy enough to tell which one was this candle. The scent had permeated the candle box, the bubble wrap around the candle box, and the Amazon box!I was worried that the candle's scent would be too strong when lit. Sadly that wasn't the case. All I could smell was burning candle with the vaguest hint of vanilla.I would have liked to give this candle a higher rating, but the lack of scent from a scented candle was disappointing. Because this is a "premium" candle from a price perspective, I expected it to be both pretty and nicely scented.

I'll start by saying it smells...pretty. The container looks exactly as described. However, the description claims "A heady aromatic blend of dark rum, incense and sweet woody tobacco infused with layers of citrus, clove, jasmine and vanilla". Well, I was expecting something like the smell of pipe tobacco. To me, it smells NOTHING like rum, tobacco, clove, or vanilla. Maybe it smells like a little like jasmine.Personally, I think they just mixed a lot of random nice smells together and hit the candle name generator. I'm not totally unhappy with it. But it smells nothing like I expected.
