Convenience
Really good quality. I used it for my old Mac in 2015 since the old charger does not work. This one fits mine very well and looks delicate. Will recommend to other users.

Mac Book Pro Charger Review
Background: I own a Mac book pro I bought more than 7 years ago. The original charger is now almost dead as you can see from the self-made repairs (black tape on the right side of the picture). Not only the rubber surrounding the original cable almost disintegrated but the plug itself is completely wared out.Review: So I decided to buy a cable from Amazon since the local retailer was charging an astronomical price for just an adapter. As you can see from the picture the charger is of excellent quality, perfectly compatible with my existing European plugs. So I could reuse my main cord cable (top of the third picture). The charger operates great, the heat is just normal and the magnetic works better than the original!

MacBook Replaceable Charger
Great Price, works on all my Macbook Pro's 13 inch and 15 inch models. LED light works for charging and full charge. (Amber and Green). Slide Power adaptor good quality. Does not over heat Purchased 5. Looks almost identical to Original Macbook chargers, minus the apple. Well worth it for price. Thank you.

Best replacement?
If you're one of the many people like me who always have an issue with Apple cables fraying or breaking, I think this is the answer to your expensive Apple charger replacement. My original MacBook Pro Charger is on the verge of breaking and I decided to give aftermarket chargers a try. I always hear negative things about aftermarket chargers because they can damage your battery or computer and etc. I have been using this for almost a month now and I haven't encountered any issues with the charger. It's so good I bought a second one just to put one at work so I don't have to keep bringing the one at home and this lowers the chance of it breaking! I bought 2 and its still cheaper than getting one from Apple!

Worked for two months (overheated often), then began to melt!
This looked like it would be a great product when I first received it. It worked to charge my laptop and I didn't notice any issues. Less than a month into purchase, it burned my arm when I leaned against it. It was CRAZY HOT. It's on me that I chose to keep the thing. It continued to charge just fine but I knew not to touch it or get near it because it got that hot. Looking back over the seller guarantee, it says that it has "overheat protection." I doubt this as if you look in the questions that people have written over this, I am obviously not the only one finding that it gets way too hot. Fast forward to last week (2 1/2 months into ownership, which means 1 1/2 months out of the return window), and it got so hot laying against my jacket next to me on the seat that it burned the material into it and started to MELT! I smelled it and immediately unplugged it. I attached pictures to show what I mean. I can't imagine what would have happened if I had left my laptop plugged in and left the house or something. I think this is a dangerous product, I doubt that it is actually certified, and I suggest you stay far away from it. Saving a couple of dollars is not worth it!

Similar to OEM Charger
This charger does its job. It has a decent length cord (none are ever truly long enough!). It has a solid box cord like the original. You have to be sure to remove the clear plastic "cap" on the connector and make sure there's not any protective plastic on the prongs before use. Then it works like a charm. TIP: I have gone through a few chargers now since getting my 2015 Macbook Pro (Retina Display). The main problem with any of them is where the rubber meets the connector that plugs into the Macbook. From bending, and wear, the rubber wears out and the copper wires get worn. Just add mechanical tape right when you get the charger and it'll last!

Perfect replacement, fraction of the cost of OEM
My 2012 macbook pro still has plenty of computing life left in it, the the apple power supply is showing it's age. The cable was completely frayed, and would barely keep a charge going to the laptop. This one is a fraction of the cost of an Apple OEM replacement, if you can even find them anymore. It has a solid construction, looks like the original, and most importantly it works perfect - i.e., exactly the same as my OEM charger did. Save some money, keep your computer ticking, and get this charger.
