Toy Major Deluxe Jumbo Castle Playset

Many pieces need to be clicked together to build this castle. It came with about 60 pieces rubber banded by each piece design and packaged in a plain brown box. I know my 6 year old would not have been able to put it together without help or guidance. There is only 1 black and white diagram of how it should look inside the box. Upon opening it, my son would not have known what it was so i set it up for him. It is very wobbly so it's difficult to transport once built, I recommend setting it up where it is intended to be played with.

This is an awesome toy set for kids or it can be reused as a model for figurines and miniatures. I've found it to be great as bookshelf decor. Surprisingly well-painted and sized for the price. Assembly is easy, although it falls apart easily too unless you want to glue pieces together, which is fairly simple. Overall, fantastic product.

This was for a Christmas gift for my son. He had asked for a castle. The box was a plain brown box with no picture on it which defeats the purpose of unwrapping and seeing the surprise on Christmas. I had to refer to the online picture of the castle to build it and show him what it was. Then the pieces don't snap together, instead they kin of jiggle flimsily and fall apart upon touching, also making it hard for a boy to play with. On the positive side, it is beautiful, as one reviewer said, the cure is to glue the pieces in place so they can actually be played with without falling apart.

I'm an adult nerd who bought this to accommodate my collection of small figures. I was very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to other collectors! As others have said, it's a bit of a project to put together, but I found it fun- I could see it being difficult for young kids or older folks. My favorite thing about the castle is that it is modular, and is really pretty big when you put the whole thing together! But I love that you could take it apart and build a smaller castle, or arrange the pieces differently. It also pretty much looks exactly like the castle on the box, maybe just a bit darker. Overall, for a no-name brand product, I was really happy with the look and quality of this castle.

The pieces don't lock together as well as I'd hoped, so it doesn't stand up well to a 7 year old boy. But he does enjoy setting it up as part of a bigger play area, so it works for him. If you want this structure to be more permanent, you may wish to consider modeling glue.

Awesome!!! What a great castle for the money. It's smaller than it appeared but nice detail. I will update this review after Christmas when I give it to my grand daughter and we sit together assembling it. I'll let you know if it was difficult and how long it took to complete.

This is a very cool item. Don't be fooled by the low price. It is a great (and affordable) medieval castle playset, and goes perfectly with the True Legends medieval action figures.

Bought this for my nephew, who is 2.5 years old. He loved it. Immediately lost (or hid) all of the cannon balls, but we had a great time playing with the rest of the castle and knights. Very easy to put together.
