Thorogood Men's Logger Series - 9" Waterproof, Safety Toe Boot

First time getting to test them in the rain/water today. Water was seeping through the boots. Both of my socks were wet.

Boots are extremely well made. Quality craftsmanship down to the stitching and inserts. Took about a month to completely break in. At first I wasn't sure I would like the waterproof lining it seemef uncomfortable but once I broke them in I hardly notice them. Only thing I would change is a wider toe area. After wearing for 8+ hours a day my toes fill crammed and slightly uncomfortable. Definitely waterproof. I've been in streams up passed my ankle, really like that they are truly waterproof.

I was relieved to know that solid boots are still being made state-side. Will never understand how building a boot in China and expecting quality will align.Having spent no less than $10k on boots ranging from $100 to $1500 in my lifetime, believe that paying true cobblers for their tradecraft and artisan experience is worth its weight in gold.I have zero regrets with this purchase.

Very comfortable boat, I am on my feet for over 10 hours a day and these boots leave me with zero soreness. I’ve only had them for a week now the true test will be how they hold up, as of today I would highly recommend.

normal size was too narrow. next width a little wide. boots hurt my feet after a long day. good quality made
