Great replacement for half the price of OEM filters
I researched online and with Consumer Reports to find a quality refrigerator water filter. These Culligan filters are in a 2 pack for less than the cost of just one Whirlpool filter. The lifespan (200 gal vs 400 Gal) is also 2X what the OEM filters offer. Wish these were available for Auto-shipping!

Still working after a few months...
This filter has been working fine after a few months. The water was black for about the first 3 gallons or so. After that, the water was clear, tastes great and is still working. Flow has been reduced slightly and seems like more than the factory originals that are very expensive.Minus 1 star for the black water (which the OEM ones didn't do) and the slightly reduced flow of this one. FYI, I date the filters when I put them in. The last OEM one that I had in there that I removed was in the fridge for almost exactly 1 year. I doubt this one will last that long but the price I think is right.

Worse Filter I've ever tried!
Ordered two filters and returned both less than a month after. Two weeks after install the water tasted like metal. AWFUL taste! I would highly recommend you look elsewhere these filters are no good!

Disgusting water and unable to contact seller
I purchased this filter since it was Culligan branded and I figured it was a name I knew since there are so many filter choices on Amazon. It installed easily, and I ran it through multiple buckets of water (the first being black so I know the water was going through the filter).Well, my water is disgusting. I've had the same filter in my fridge for over a year now (I know, I know) and my water tasted great. So I of course ran through another few buckets of water to flush out the lines and get the filter going. Nope, still tastes like disgusting chlorinated pool water. What gives? It's been several days, and several gallons of water later and I stuck my old filter back in to see if it made any difference. Yup, a glass of water from my old filter compared to a glass from the culligan filter is night and day.So, I figure it's a fluke. Try to contact the seller through Amazon, only have a phone number to contact them. And if course that number doesn't work. Google tells me there is a company by this name in CA, but is it the same company? Did I get a fake filter, or is mine just no good and could be replaced? I have no idea since I have no way to contact them.So here I am, leaving a terrible review for their terrible filter and terrible company contact info, in hopes that I get a response and this can all be easily rectified and I can have some nice tasting water again. For now, my old filter is back in place, and I'll wait to submit to Amazon for a refund in hopes of hearing back.
