Honeybee Headquarters Beekeeping Bee Hive Starter kit

Packed well, all parts present. I put together the hives and frames fairly easily. The hive fit very tightly and I had to file or sandall the joints to get them to fit. There was a book on starting out that was the instructions to assemble the frames and hives butthat was very sketchy and did not give very good instructions on the assembly. It took about an hour and a half to assemble tenframes but I enjoy working with my hands. All the equipment with the purchase seem good but I won't know until I get my beeslater this month.

Package intact but no bottom bars for the frames and 2 pieces cracked so I can't assemble anythingMaddening that they can't include assembly instructions specific to their product rather than a general book. As a newbie one doesn't want to screw up.No nails included as mentioned. I used a Brad nail gun which made assembling the frames a lot easier. I used a pin nailer for the wedges to hold the wax so it didn't split.The gloves and jacket and really all parts are high quality. This kit comes with beeswax foundation for the frames. The book then goes on to tell you that you need to acquire and install brass grommets and wire horizontally in the frame if you want to use this foundation. So I have to get that.The top feeder is included and assembled for you.The seller did respond right away on a Sunday and took care of my concerns with replacement parts in time for my bees.

These must be build to order. It was a full 14 days before I received (odd with my previous experience on amazon). They ship you REAL bees wax foundation which is a super plus!!!! The hive all in all is very nice and I'm excited to put it to use. I did have to make some modifications because the box joints did not fit together properly. Very high quality veil / jacket ( ordered a medium and received a large. Same with the gloves ). All the components were as described.

This is a great starter kit. It truly does include all you need to start out.Everything is good quaility.The hive is made of better material than others I have ordered and its easy to put together.

The best I could find all over the Internet for a complete setup. I am very pleased with it, I like it so much that I am planning to buy several to give away. The quality of the wood is top notch, and the customer service is awesome!
