Set up last weekend perfect match for my vw

Very nice looking when up and compact when stowed, a little tricky to put up on your own especially if there's a bit of a breeze while you are doing it. Some pre use work required such as making loops on the guy ropes to go over the spikes on the top of the poles and generally familiarising yourself with the assembly before putting it up for the first time. The only complaint with what is supplied is that the pegs are a little "lightweight" and are prone to moving in the ground or even bending, I've now added an extra set of cross section plastic pegs for main guy duties. Overall a good looking and compact windbreak for the money, time will tell how robust it is in the wild.

Good

This item packs away small, is relatively light and looks nice. It has sturdy poles. The straps that come with it are fluorescent yellow which clashes a bit but are of course visible in the dark. The pegs are what really lets this down. With winds of 25-30mph the pegs just rip out of the ground pinging the straps off in every distance. They bend easily and are fairly flimsy and not heavy duty enough. Having pitched this for just 12 hours it continuously blew over.

Poles are poor quality and separate easily when assembled, we tried to erect it at a windy camp site, it wasn’t strong enough. I’ll go extra for an air beam wind break.

Great quality, I'm an all weather camper and I was pleasantly surprised how wellthis little gem stood up in a storm. I did add extra guys to help but it stood well against gusts of 47mph. Pretty impressed

Pole broke on first use. May have been unlucky as was breezy
